To publish videos on different channel calendars, schedule each video separately and select its date, time, and time zone. If you mean playlist order or a timed announcement linking to a playlist, those are separate controls.
Schedule videos for separate YouTube channels
- Open the correct channel in YouTube Studio. Sign in and confirm which channel you are managing before uploading or editing a video.
- Upload the video and enter its details. In the video’s visibility and scheduling controls, set it as scheduled or private, then open the Schedule card.
- Set the date, time, and time zone. Choose the intended publication time and check the time-zone control in the scheduling screen. Select Schedule to save.
- Repeat for each channel. Switch to the other channel and schedule its videos individually, using that channel’s intended calendar. Keep a channel-by-channel calendar to avoid mixing up dates and times.
- Change a scheduled time if needed. In Studio, open Content, select the video, edit Visibility, and change the time under Schedule.
YouTube’s instructions ask you to choose a date, time, and time zone, but do not give a specific IST example or guarantee the same time-zone label in every interface version. Verify the selection shown in your live scheduling screen. YouTube also says the date displayed on a video’s watch page is based on Pacific Standard Time. For a scheduled publication in a time zone ahead of PST, that displayed date can differ from the date shown in Studio. See YouTube’s scheduling instructions.

Know what “playlist rotation” can mean
When you want a video to go public at a set time
Schedule each video’s publication in Studio. This controls when the video becomes public; it does not set a recurring timer to cycle through playlist contents.

When you want to point viewers to a playlist at a particular time
Create a scheduled Community post, set its date, time, and time zone, and include the playlist URL. This schedules the post that promotes the playlist; it does not rotate the playlist’s videos. YouTube’s post instructions explain scheduling posts and sharing a playlist link.
When the playlist is an official series
A series playlist marks videos as an official set intended to be viewed together. YouTube requires a verified account to enable this feature, and a video can appear in only one series playlist. It is not a timed rotation feature. Read YouTube’s series playlist guidance.

Plan a schedule you can sustain
For each channel, compare the intended local publication time and time zone with the publishing frequency you can reliably maintain. YouTube recommends considering consistency, content volume, production time, and monetary cost relative to viewership and revenue when setting an upload schedule.
