YouTube lets you manually order Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu videos in a playlist, but its documented playlist controls do not automatically rotate videos by language. If viewers should choose and play the videos, arrange the playlist yourself. If you mean a continuous 24/7 live broadcast, feed the videos through an encoder connected to YouTube Live and set the rotation in the playback workflow—not in the playlist or scheduled event.
First, decide what “24/7 playlist” means
A YouTube playlist and a continuous live stream are different things. A playlist is a sequence viewers can open and play; you control its order manually. A live stream is a broadcast page receiving a video feed from an encoder, and the playback or switching logic has to be built into the production setup.

| Approach | What viewers get | How language rotation works | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ordered YouTube playlist | A playlist viewers can open and play | You manually arrange the videos in YouTube | Simple to manage, but the documented controls do not automatically group or rotate by language. |
| Encoder-fed live stream | A live broadcast carrying an encoder’s feed | You configure playback and language switching in the production workflow | Fits a continuous-broadcast setup, but needs an encoder connection and separate playback logic. |
Choose a playlist if viewers should browse or control playback. Choose an encoder-fed stream if you want a broadcast that plays continuously. Scheduling a YouTube live event can help promote it and give viewers a reminder, but scheduling does not decide which prerecorded video plays next.

- Open YouTube Studio and create or select a playlist. When creating one, enter its title and description, set visibility, choose an initial arrangement, and create it. YouTube’s playlist management instructions cover these controls.
- Add the videos. You can add videos from search, by URL, or from your creator library using the playlist controls.
- Drag the videos into your chosen sequence. For an alternating pattern, place a Hindi video, then Tamil, then Telugu, and repeat with the next videos. Drag items up or down to change their order.
- Check the resulting sequence. Review the playlist from top to bottom and make sure the pattern matches your intended viewing experience. YouTube documents manual reordering; the language sequence itself is your editorial choice.
- Localize the playlist metadata if useful. In YouTube Studio, set the playlist’s default language and add translated playlist titles and descriptions. This translates playlist metadata; it does not identify each video’s spoken language or automatically reorder videos. YouTube notes that advanced features may require one-time verification.
Can YouTube automatically rotate videos by language?
The documented YouTube playlist controls describe manual ordering, not a built-in rule that detects Hindi, Tamil, or Telugu and alternates videos automatically. You need to arrange a viewer-playable playlist yourself. For a live broadcast, the language pattern must likewise be set in the playback or production workflow feeding the encoder.

Decide whether to alternate languages video by video, play a block of one language before switching, or use another sequence that suits your audience. No automatic language-rotation behavior is established in YouTube’s cited playlist instructions.
How to make the sequence a continuous YouTube live broadcast
A playlist’s order alone is not an encoder feed. YouTube’s live-streaming instructions explain that an encoder converts video into a digital stream and connects to YouTube using a stream URL and stream key.

- Create or schedule the live stream in YouTube Studio. Use Live Control Room to create a stream, or open its Manage tab to schedule one. Scheduling sets up the event; it does not configure the prerecorded-video sequence.
- Set up the playback sequence in your production workflow. Put the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu videos in the intended order and configure the playback or switching logic that will feed them to the encoder. The exact controls depend on the playback setup you choose; YouTube’s cited instructions do not specify a ready-made language-rotation rule.
- Connect the encoder to YouTube. Copy the stream URL and stream key from YouTube Studio into the encoder, then start the encoder feed according to its instructions. Treat the stream key as a credential: do not publish it or share it with people who should not control your broadcast.
- Check the live feed and transitions. Confirm the broadcast is receiving video and that transitions follow your intended language pattern. A scheduled event and an operational encoder feed are separate parts of the setup.
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That is an operational limit to account for when planning a truly continuous broadcast; do not assume a single live event will remain an uninterrupted, indefinitely archived recording.
Copyright and monetization checks before you loop videos
Having permission to upload or play a video does not automatically establish that it can be used in every context or that a channel will qualify for monetization. Before including a recording in a repeating playlist or live broadcast, check that you have the necessary rights to the video, music, performances, and other material it contains. Review YouTube’s applicable copyright and monetization requirements for your channel, and do not treat a language rotation or a live format as a substitute for those checks.

Troubleshooting the language rotation
- The videos play in the wrong order: Reopen the playlist in YouTube Studio and drag items into the intended sequence. Playlist translations do not change video order.
- The playlist does not alternate languages automatically: YouTube’s documented controls do not provide automatic language grouping or rotation. Manually reorder a viewer-playable playlist, or configure the sequence in the production workflow for an encoder-fed broadcast.
- A scheduled live event exists, but the videos are not playing: Scheduling creates the event; it does not supply or arrange the video feed. Set up and start the encoder and its playback workflow separately.
- The encoder is not connecting to YouTube: Check that the stream URL and stream key in the encoder match the values shown in YouTube Studio, and confirm the encoder is running.
- You expect one recording to cover an indefinitely long broadcast: YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Plan for the archive constraint rather than assuming a single event will be preserved indefinitely.
