Do not confuse IRL Pro with iReal Pro
iReal Pro’s playlist guide concerns a separate music-practice application. It explains organising songs into playlists, but it does not describe IRL Pro, live video, YouTube, or time-based streaming. Applying iReal Pro’s instructions to IRL Pro could lead you to look for controls that do not exist.
How to verify whether your IRL Pro build supports this

- Record the exact app identity. Confirm that the installed application is IRL Pro, not iReal Pro, and note the Android version and the IRL Pro version shown in the app’s information screen or Google Play listing.
- Check current in-app help and release notes. Search for the terms “playlist,” “media,” “schedule,” “scene,” “automation,” “loop,” and “broadcast.” Do not infer support from a generic timer that only starts or stops a stream.
- Ask IRL Pro support a precise question. Request confirmation of whether the app can play uploaded or local video playlists and switch playlist A, B and C at specified times while one live stream remains active. Include whether the schedule can repeat daily, which time zone it uses, and what happens if a playlist is still playing at the hand-off.
- Ask about destination limits. Confirm whether the feature works on YouTube as well as other RTMP/SRT destinations, and whether it requires a particular encoder, account state, or Android version.
- Request failure behaviour in writing. Ask what happens after a lost connection, a phone reboot, an incoming call, battery-saving suspension, or an empty playlist. A timetable is not dependable if the app cannot resume the correct item.

What a real day-parted playlist system must provide
If support confirms that scheduling exists, these are the controls you should expect to document. If any are absent, ask how IRL Pro handles the corresponding case instead of assuming.
Time and recurrence
- A selectable time zone, ideally shown next to each scheduled time.
- Start and end times or a duration for every playlist.
- Day selection (for example, every day, weekdays, or named days).
- A clear rule for daylight-saving changes and for overlapping entries.
Playlist behaviour
- Whether items play once, loop, or stop when the list ends.
- Whether a hand-off waits for the current item to finish or cuts immediately.

Why a phone-based schedule can fail even when a feature exists
The terms’ requirement for an active connection and a charged device matters operationally. A phone that loses Wi-Fi or cellular service cannot deliver a timed hand-off. Roaming or mobile-data charges can also vary by carrier and country. Android battery-saving rules may suspend background work, and an incoming call or system restart can interrupt a broadcast. These are general mobile risks, not evidence that IRL Pro has a specific scheduling implementation.

- The stream disconnects overnight: check charging, network stability and mobile-data limits first. The terms specifically place charging and applicable network charges on the user.
- Audio or video changes abruptly: ask whether transitions are supported or whether a new playlist starts only after the current file ends.
If your goal is continuous YouTube playback rather than an IRL camera stream
IRL Pro is positioned for live IRL broadcasting. If what you actually need is a YouTube channel that continuously plays uploaded recordings, that is a different technical requirement from sending a camera feed from an Android phone. You need a service or encoder that can keep a YouTube stream running and play the media you select. Confirm YouTube’s copyright ownership and reused-content rules for every recording before going live; a playlist mechanism does not grant rights to music or video you do not control.

Copyright and channel-policy checks
Whether you use a confirmed IRL Pro workflow, another encoder, or a cloud loop, you remain responsible for the content sent to YouTube. Keep records showing that you own or are licensed to use every song, video, image and broadcast element.
