Schedule each stream in YouTube Studio or the mobile app, then check its displayed date and time around the clock change and update it if necessary. YouTube’s playlist instructions cover organizing uploaded videos; they do not document scheduling a playlist to play as a livestream.
Can you schedule a YouTube playlist to play as a livestream?
YouTube’s published guidance describes scheduling livestreams individually. It separately explains how to add uploaded videos to a playlist, but does not describe a playlist-level timer that broadcasts those videos as a scheduled livestream. A playlist of uploaded videos and a scheduled livestream are therefore different workflows; do not assume that scheduling or updating a playlist will schedule a live broadcast.

If your goal is a scheduled event, create a livestream for each date using YouTube’s scheduling tools. If you want a sequence of uploaded videos to run continuously as a live feed, YouTube’s documented playlist instructions alone do not establish that capability.

Schedule an individual livestream in YouTube Studio
- Open YouTube Studio. Choose Create > Go Live.
- Open Manage. Choose Schedule Stream.
- Set up the stream. Create a new stream or reuse settings from a previous stream. YouTube says stream settings can be selected during creation or scheduling and edited later.
- Check the scheduled date and time. Around a daylight-saving transition, verify the displayed date and time for each scheduled stream rather than assuming a recurring event will shift to match your intended local clock time.
- Share the event. YouTube says a scheduled stream can be promoted by sharing its URL, and viewers can choose to receive a reminder.
The documented workflow supports scheduling a stream and reusing settings; it does not document a recurring playlist broadcast or confirm how recurring livestream times behave across daylight-saving changes. If the displayed schedule is not the time you intend, edit the stream and tell viewers about the change.

Schedule a livestream from the YouTube mobile app
YouTube’s mobile instructions include a Schedule for later option and a calendar flow for choosing a scheduled stream. Use the app to set the event, then check the date and time shown for it, particularly around a clock change. The mobile flow is an alternative place to schedule an individual stream, not documented evidence of a playlist scheduler.
What happens to livestream times when daylight saving starts or ends?
YouTube’s public guidance reviewed for this workflow does not say whether a recurring livestream schedule automatically adjusts to preserve the creator’s intended local wall-clock time. Do not promise or rely on automatic adjustment. Check each scheduled stream around the transition and change its time if needed. YouTube recommends communicating schedule changes to viewers.

Why might a scheduled video show a different date?
YouTube’s guidance for scheduled video publication says creators set a date, time, and time zone, while the date displayed on a video’s watch page is based on Pacific Standard Time. For publication times in time zones ahead of PST, that watch-page date can differ from the date shown in Studio.
