How to Save Multiple Open Tabs with Save Page WE

To save several pages already open in your browser, select the tabs you want, open Save Page WE’s menu, and choose Save Selected Tabs. Pick Basic, Standard, or Custom Items for the resources to include. Save Page WE downloads the pages as HTML files.

1. In the browser tab bar, select or highlight the tabs you want to save. Use your browser’s normal tab-selection method; the tabs must be open.

2. Open the Save Page WE toolbar button or its context menu and choose Save Selected Tabs.

The extension downloads the saved page content as HTML. Its toolbar button can also be configured to run a Save Selected Tabs action directly. The documented default shortcut, Alt+A, saves a page; Alt+C cancels a single- or multiple-page save. Shortcuts can be changed in the extension options.

Choose what to include

• Basic Items: essential page content.

• Standard Items: Basic Items plus additional listed resource types.

• Custom Items: Basic Items plus the extra item types you select.

These settings control which resources are included in the saved copy; they do not guarantee that every interactive element or remote feature will keep working offline.

Save a list of URLs instead

If you want to save pages from a URL list rather than select tabs that are already open, load a file containing the URLs in the Zoom Page WE Options dialog. Then choose Save Listed URLs.

What to expect during a multiple-page save

If the load-lazy-content option is enabled, Save Page WE switches tabs to the foreground while saving. The browser may visibly move between tabs as it loads their content.

Browser availability and menu differences

The Firefox Add-ons listing says Save Page WE is available for Firefox and Chrome with identical functions and user interfaces. Extension listings and versions can change, so check the current listing for your browser if a menu or setting differs.
