Open the case on the official eCourts Services portal, then use your browser’s print function and choose Save as PDF. On a computer running Chrome, press Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux, or Command+P on Mac. In Chrome on Android, use More → Share → Print. Check the preview and open the saved file to confirm it includes the case information you need.
Find and verify the case on eCourts
Start at the official eCourts Services portal. If you have the case’s CNR, enter the 16-character alphanumeric number without spaces or hyphens. A successful search displays the case-history page, which can include Case Details, Case Status, Hearing History and Orders.

If you do not have the CNR, the portal offers other search routes, including case number, filing number, petitioner or respondent, advocate, FIR, Act type and case type. Use the search option that matches the identifiers available to you. Some searches require a CAPTCHA; case-number and filing-number searches also require the case type and relevant year. Select the matching result and use its View action to open the case history. The live portal may ask you to complete a CAPTCHA before showing results.

Before printing, verify that the page belongs to the intended case. The eCourts portal warns: “Do not use browser toolbar reload or back button”.

Save the page as a PDF on a computer
These steps are for Chrome on Windows, Linux or Mac. Menu labels may vary by operating system or browser version.
- Open the correct case-history page in Chrome and confirm the case identifier and status or history details you want to keep are visible.
- Open Print: press Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux, or Command+P on Mac. You can also select File → Print.
- In the print dialog, choose the PDF destination, usually labelled “Save as PDF”.
- Review the print preview and settings. Check that the necessary case details and pages appear in the preview.
- Select Save, choose a folder and filename, then save the PDF.
- Open the saved file and check that the text is readable and all the pages you need are present.
Save the page as a PDF on Android
In Chrome for Android, the documented route is:
- Open the case page.
- Tap More → Share → Print.
- On the print screen, choose “Save as PDF”.
- Select a folder on the device and complete the save.
- Open the PDF to confirm it is readable and includes the needed information.
These instructions are specifically for Chrome on Android. The same menu sequence is not established for iPhone, iPad or other browsers. On those devices, use the browser or operating system’s own print or share-to-PDF option if available.

Check what the PDF contains—and what it means
Browser printing saves a rendered copy of the page; the exact pagination and layout can vary. Check the preview before saving, then inspect the file itself. In particular, confirm the case identifier and the status or hearing-history details you intended to retain are legible and that no needed pages are missing.
A browser-printed PDF is not established as a certified court copy or a digitally issued official document. If you need a formal or certified record, follow the relevant court’s official process.
