Tap Save at the top. Google’s instructions describe this as saving a copy of the video with your edits.

The Android help page covers multiple video-editing controls, including trimming, cropping or rotating, enhancement, and stabilization. Button placement or labels can shift as the app changes, so the exact interface may differ by version.
Save an edited video on iPhone or iPad

Google lists iOS 16 or later as a requirement for video editing in its iPhone and iPad instructions.

Keep an additional local copy on a computer
If you also want to download a video from your Google Photos library to a computer, go to photos.google.com, select the video, then choose More → Download. This is a separate download step; it is not needed to save the edited copy in the mobile app. See Google Photos Help: Download photos or videos to your device.

Android requirements depend on the edit and device. Google says some editing features require at least 1 GB of RAM and Android 6.0 or later; adjustments and effects require at least 3 GB of RAM and Android 8.0 or later. Google also says non-Pixel Android devices running Android 9 do not support or have access to video editing. These requirements apply to the relevant features or devices, not necessarily every edit.
