After GoFullPage finishes capturing a webpage in Chrome, open its screenshot page and select the PDF download control. You can also right-click the screenshot and choose Save PDF As…. Then select a continuous page or a paginated paper layout, depending on whether you plan to read or print the file.

Open the webpage you want to capture in Chrome.

Start GoFullPage from the browser toolbar and let it scroll through the webpage. The extension’s listing says the completed capture opens in a new tab with image and PDF download options. See the GoFullPage Chrome Web Store listing.

On the resulting screenshot page, select the PDF download control. Alternatively, right-click the screenshot and select Save PDF As…, as described in the GoFullPage blog’s right-click menu tip.

Choose a PDF layout
The GoFullPage store listing describes continuous and paginated PDF output. Paginated options include A4, US Letter, and US Legal, with portrait or landscape orientation where available. The listing also describes fitting the entire screenshot onto one continuous PDF page.

Continuous page: Keeps the capture on one long page. This can suit on-screen review, but a very long page may be awkward to print or read at ordinary paper scale.

When the capture does not work

The target is a PDF document: GoFullPage’s FAQ says its extension cannot access PDF documents to perform scrolling capture. The usual full-page workflow may therefore not apply.

The screenshot is incomplete: Some websites manage scrolling with custom JavaScript, which can prevent the extension from capturing the whole page. GoFullPage identifies this as a limitation in its FAQ.
