You can run recorded BPSC lessons as a continuous YouTube live stream by enabling live streaming on your channel, connecting a software or hardware encoder with your YouTube stream key, and sending a prepared lesson playlist to the encoder. Before launching, check the target exam and syllabus against the latest official BPSC notice: the current exam-specific details are not established here.
Plan around two constraints: YouTube says first-time live activation can take up to 24 hours, and a stream longer than 12 hours may not be archived. For dependable lesson recordings, schedule sessions under 12 hours and keep a local backup.

What you need before going live
- A verified YouTube channel with live streaming enabled and no live-stream restriction in the previous 90 days. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so do this before your planned launch. YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility and activation guidance.
- Recorded lessons you have the rights to broadcast and archive, including any music or other embedded material.
- A software or hardware encoder, or a cloud service that sends prerecorded video as a live stream.
- A stable upload connection with spare capacity, plus a plan for session breaks and local recording if preserving the lessons matters.
Prepare the BPSC lessons and playlist
Confirm the exam before labeling the stream
BPSC conducts different examinations, and dates, syllabuses, formats, and eligibility can change. Identify the precise examination the stream is for, then verify those details against the latest official BPSC notice before naming topics or publishing a schedule. Do not rely on an old playlist title or an unverified social post as an exam update.

Make the teaching identifiable and useful
Organize recordings into distinct lessons or topic blocks. Explain solutions, add teacher commentary, and make the educational purpose clear. Avoid simply rebroadcasting another creator’s recordings or looping nearly identical segments with little added value. YouTube’s monetization policy covers live streams and says repetitive or mass-produced material with little educational value may be ineligible; decisions consider the channel as a whole, so original teaching does not guarantee approval. See YouTube’s channel monetization policies.

Set up the YouTube live stream
- Enable live streaming early. In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and complete any verification or activation steps shown for your channel. Allow up to 24 hours for first-time activation.
- Create or schedule a stream. From the Live Control Room, create a live stream or schedule one. Set its title and description accurately for the target BPSC examination and the lessons actually included.
- Copy the connection details. Open the stream’s encoder settings and copy the server URL and stream key into your encoder. Treat the key like a password: anyone who gets it may be able to broadcast to your stream. Do not publish it, include it in screenshots, or share it in a public chat. YouTube explains the stream setup in its encoder setup guide.
- Choose an encoder and send the playlist. Use an encoder that can play your prepared recordings in sequence or loop them, and enter YouTube’s connection details there. YouTube recommends RTMPS, a secure extension to RTMP; select the matching server option in the encoder when available.
- Configure a realistic video bitrate. YouTube’s current encoder guidance recommends H.264 at 5 Mbps for 1080p/30fps and 3 Mbps for 480p/30fps. These are platform recommendations, not guarantees that your computer or connection can sustain the feed. YouTube also lists H.265 and AV1 video options; confirm your encoder and workflow support your chosen format.
- Leave upload headroom. YouTube’s streaming tips recommend keeping 20% upload bandwidth available beyond the stream’s bitrate. For example, a 5 Mbps stream calls for about 6.25 Mbps of upload capacity under that recommendation. Other household or office traffic can reduce the capacity available to the encoder.
- Preview before starting. Send a test with representative motion and audio, check the incoming preview in the Live Control Room, and confirm the public watch page opens as intended. Check that lesson audio is audible, the playlist advances, and the stream health does not show a connection problem.
- Monitor the live session. Keep checking stream health and audio/video quality after launch. A successful initial connection does not ensure the entire playlist will continue without interruption.
For connection options and encoder settings, see YouTube’s encoder settings and live-streaming guidance.
Plan session length and keep an archive
YouTube says live streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. That means a literal uninterrupted 24-hour session is not a dependable way to create a complete YouTube replay. If viewers need recordings, break the schedule into sessions shorter than 12 hours and keep a local recording backup. This is a practical workaround based on YouTube’s stated archive limit, not a guarantee of archive behavior. Review YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance before setting the schedule.

Rights and monetization considerations
YouTube’s live-stream terms require live content to comply with Community Guidelines and require you to hold the rights needed for live and archived content, including music rights where applicable. A recording being publicly available elsewhere does not by itself establish that you may rebroadcast it. Check permissions for every lesson, image, music track, and clip in the playlist. The live-content requirement appears in YouTube’s live-stream terms.

YouTube’s inauthentic-content policy, effective July 15, 2025, applies to live streams; repetitive or mass-produced content with little educational value may be ineligible. Distinct lessons, genuine instruction, commentary, and clear topic organization can make the educational value apparent, but they do not ensure monetization approval.

Troubleshoot common problems
- Live streaming is not available. Check channel verification, any live-stream restrictions from the previous 90 days, and whether initial activation is still pending. First activation may take up to 24 hours.
- The encoder will not connect. Confirm that the server URL and stream key belong to the scheduled stream and were copied without extra characters. Keep the key private; if it may have been exposed, replace or reset it through YouTube’s stream settings and update the encoder.
- The preview buffers or stream health reports issues. Reduce the encoder bitrate or resolution to fit the actual upload connection, and check that upload headroom remains available. Test again before relaunching the full schedule.
- The stream is live but lesson audio is missing or poor. Check the encoder’s audio input and the recording’s audio track, then preview a representative segment before going live. If recording or narrating lessons, an external microphone is optional; it is not required by YouTube.
- The playlist stops advancing. Check the encoder’s playlist or loop controls and the playback files. Test the full transition between recordings rather than checking only a single clip.
- The full-day replay is missing. A session longer than 12 hours may not be archived. Use shorter sessions and preserve a local recording when a complete archive is important.
- A lesson receives a copyright claim or monetization concern. Review whether you have rights to every included element and whether the stream adds original educational value. Remove or replace material you cannot use; permission and monetization eligibility are distinct questions.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo keeps a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It runs in the cloud, so nothing has to stay powered on at home. It plays the files as uploaded, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; it also automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. Every slot includes 10 GB of storage pooled across active slots, looping and playlists, and support from the StreamNeo team. The first day is free with no card. The monthly option is $9.99 per month. UPI and cards are accepted in India; card checkout is available worldwide. StreamNeo streams to YouTube only and plays uploaded videos rather than going live from a camera. You are still responsible for the rights to the lessons and for checking YouTube’s live-stream and archive rules.
