To reroll safely, use only the reset method the specific game officially supports, and protect the account you choose before uninstalling, clearing data, or switching devices. Rerolling means repeating the early game or summons for a different starting result; there is no universal reset sequence that works safely across anime gacha games.
Before you reroll, identify the account you could lose
First check the exact game, server or version, region, and device platform. Find the game’s current official instructions for guest accounts, resets, linking, and transfers. These details can change what a reset or sign-in does.

Check which profile is active and whether it is a guest account or already linked. If the game recommends recording an account ID or UID, do so. Do not assume that signing out, reinstalling, clearing app data, or unlinking will safely create a fresh account; those actions may affect the profile you want to keep.
Use this safe reroll workflow
- Read the official instructions for your exact game. Confirm the supported reset route and whether it applies to your platform and region.
- Reset only through a documented method. If the instructions do not clearly explain what will happen, stop before deleting data or unlinking and ask the publisher’s support team.
- Choose the result you want to keep. Once you are satisfied, follow the game’s official account-linking or protection process rather than leaving the profile as a guest.
- Verify the protected account. Check that the intended credentials or platform identity are attached, then confirm your progress appears after a normal relaunch or supported sign-in.
- Move devices or remove local data only after verification. Use the game’s supported sign-in or transfer process and confirm you are opening the intended profile.
This is a safety workflow, not a reset walkthrough for every title. Linking does not necessarily preserve multiple reroll profiles, and an unlink or reset should not be treated as reversible unless the game’s official instructions say so.

HoYoverse games: check the title and platform rules
HoYoverse’s guidance, updated September 9, 2025, says supported game progress can be synchronized by signing in with the same HoYoverse credentials or linked third-party account. It advises players to double-check credentials before linking, and its instructions vary by title and platform. Read HoYoverse’s cross-platform synchronization guidance before relying on cross-save.
A separate HoYoverse article, also updated September 9, 2025, describes login compatibility: it lists Apple and Game Center social logins for iOS, Google social login for Android, and email or username with password across platforms. Blue Archive: an unlinked guest can be fragile
Nexon’s Blue Archive forum guidance, posted November 9, 2021, warns that an unlinked guest account may be lost after uninstalling the game or changing devices, and describes linking through Settings. Because that post is older, check the current in-game instructions as well. The official Blue Archive Default Account Settings page describes using those settings for mobile guest accounts after linking to a Nexon Account, including selecting which existing platform game data is the default.

Aniplex’s July 19, 2024 notice describes linking game data to Aniplex Online for transfer. It also says linked data cannot use transfer numbers in the usual way and that previously issued transfer numbers become unusable. - Is this profile a guest or linked account? Guest progress may depend on local data and may not survive uninstalling or changing devices.
- Does the official guide support this reset or unlink action? If it does not explain the action and its consequences, do not guess.
- Which login identity and platforms are supported? Social-login options, cross-save coverage, and transfer requirements can differ by title, platform, server, and region.
- Could multiple profiles exist? If the game lets you select a default profile or account, confirm which one is active before linking or transferring.
