On iPhone, Apple’s current payment AutoFill controls are in Wallet: open Wallet > More > AutoFill, authenticate, select the card, and tap Remove From AutoFill. That does not remove the card from Apple Pay.
Remove a saved Safari AutoFill card on Mac
- Open Safari and choose Safari > Settings from the menu bar.
- Select the AutoFill tab.
- Choose Edit beside Credit Cards.
- Select the saved card you want to delete and remove it from the list.
This deletes the stored AutoFill entry used to fill payment forms in Safari; it is separate from managing cards in Apple Pay. See Apple’s instructions for changing AutoFill settings in Safari on Mac.

Remove a payment AutoFill card on iPhone
- Open the Wallet app.
- Tap More, then tap AutoFill.
- Authenticate when prompted.
- Select the card and tap Remove From AutoFill.
Apple’s current iPhone instructions place payment AutoFill management in Wallet, rather than Safari settings. Removing the AutoFill card does not remove it from Apple Pay. See Apple’s instructions for filling in payment information on iPhone.

Apple Pay cards are managed separately from Safari or payment AutoFill. Choose the device where you want to remove the card:

On iPhone
- Open Wallet and select the Apple Pay card.
- Open the card details and choose Remove Card.
This removes the card from Wallet on that iPhone, but does not remove it from Wallet on your other Apple devices. See Apple’s guide to managing passes, cards, and keys in Wallet on iPhone.
On Mac
- Open System Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.
- Select the card and click Remove Card.
This is separate from deleting a Safari AutoFill entry. See Apple’s instructions for changing Wallet & Apple Pay settings on Mac.

If the card is missing or the device is lost
Settings labels and available features can vary by software version, device, and region. If you cannot find the removal control, consult Apple’s current guidance for your device or contact your card issuer. For a lost device, Apple lists marking the device as lost as a way to turn off Apple Pay on that device; its guidance also recommends contacting the issuer for card support.
