FatCow has stopped accepting new customers and directs new hosting needs to Bluehost. Its official page does not publish legacy FatCow renewal rates; check your account renewal center or invoice.

FatCow is no longer accepting new customers. Its official landing page directs anyone who needs a new or additional hosting account to Bluehost. The displayed Bluehost offer is $2.95 per month, renewing at $11.99 per month; it is not a FatCow legacy-account renewal price. FatCow’s official page does not state current renewal rates for existing accounts, so check your account’s renewal center or invoice for the amount you will actually pay. These details were checked against the official landing page on October 5, 2026; offers and policies may change.

Can you still sign up for FatCow hosting?

No. The official FatCow-branded landing page says, “We are no longer taking new customers on FatCow.com.” It directs people who need a new or additional hosting account to Bluehost. That makes Bluehost the stated new-account route—not a currently available FatCow plan.

The same page says existing websites are not being moved to Bluehost and directs current customers to FatCow support at fatcow.com/help. The page therefore describes an option for new hosting needs, not an automatic migration of legacy FatCow sites.

What are FatCow’s plans and prices in 2026?

The reviewed official page does not list currently purchasable FatCow plans or a FatCow price schedule for existing customers. It displays a Bluehost offer for people seeking a new hosting account:

Item What the official page says
New-account provider Bluehost, for a new or additional hosting account
Displayed monthly price $2.95 per month
Displayed renewal price $11.99 per month
FatCow legacy-account renewal price Not stated on the official page

The $2.95 and $11.99 amounts belong to the Bluehost offer displayed on FatCow’s landing page. They should not be used to estimate a current FatCow customer’s bill. Bluehost’s offer details can change; check the page and the checkout terms before signing up.

What does FatCow charge at renewal?

The official material reviewed does not establish a current renewal price or schedule for legacy FatCow accounts. Third-party pricing pages disagree: one lists a FatCow plan at $4.08 per month renewing at $12.95 per month, while another gives different FatCow and WordPress plan figures. Those conflicting listings do not verify what a particular customer will be billed.

For your account-specific rate, open FatCow’s renewal center or check your latest invoice. Use the amount and renewal term shown there rather than a third-party plan listing or the Bluehost offer.

What are the domain terms on the Bluehost offer?

The landing page’s domain language applies to its Bluehost offer, not as a general promise for legacy FatCow accounts. It says a domain is included for one year with qualifying 12- or 36-month hosting plans, subject to redemption, eligible-top-level-domain, and premium-domain conditions. After the first year, the domain automatically renews at the then-current rate unless cancelled; the page says it can be cancelled at any time. Newly registered domains cannot be transferred to another registrar during the first 60 days.

Because the renewal rate is described as the then-current rate rather than a fixed amount, check the renewal center for the applicable domain price before relying on the included first year.

What should existing FatCow customers know about continuity and backups?

Existing websites and support

FatCow’s landing page says existing websites are not being moved to Bluehost and points current customers to FatCow support. Do not treat a Bluehost signup as a migration of a legacy FatCow site; the page does not say that the site, account, or billing will transfer.

Backups on the hosting account

FatCow’s Acceptable Use Policy prohibits storing backups on a hosting account and says the policy may change without notice. The policy was last modified February 4, 2025. Customers should review the live policy and keep backups in a separate storage location rather than assuming hosting space can be used as an archive. See the FatCow Acceptable Use Policy.

Is Bluehost’s displayed price the same as your FatCow renewal?

No. The $2.95-per-month price and $11.99-per-month renewal shown on the landing page are Bluehost offer terms for a new hosting account. They do not establish the price, renewal date, or plan terms of an existing FatCow account. Confirm those details in your FatCow account renewal center or invoice.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
