Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteTurn on the keyboard, select an Easy-Switch channel, then hold that channel’s key for about three seconds until its light blinks rapidly. Open Bluetooth settings on your computer, phone, or tablet and choose the keyboard from the device list. The exact key and device name vary by model; these steps are documented for the K380, MX Keys, and MX Keys Mini.
What “discoverable” means on a Logitech keyboard
Discoverable means the keyboard is in Bluetooth pairing mode, so a nearby device can find it. On the Easy-Switch models covered here, a rapidly blinking channel light indicates that state. If the selected channel’s light is not blinking rapidly, press and hold its key for about three seconds to start pairing mode.

How to make the keyboard discoverable
- Turn on the keyboard. Check that it has power.
- Select an Easy-Switch channel. Choose the channel you want to pair with the computer, phone, or tablet.
- Check the channel light. If it is not blinking rapidly, hold that channel’s key for about three seconds.
- Open Bluetooth settings on the host device. Scan for nearby devices and select the keyboard when it appears.
- Complete any on-screen pairing prompt. Follow the host device’s instructions. If a code appears, enter it on the physical keyboard and press Enter.
Logitech’s guidance describes the three-second key hold for the models below. The precise control labels and pairing behavior may differ on other Logitech keyboards, so use the guide for your exact model if these controls do not match.
Model-specific instructions
| Keyboard | Pairing-mode cue and action | Additional detail |
|---|---|---|
| K380 | Turn it on. If the selected Easy-Switch light is not blinking rapidly, hold that channel’s button for three seconds, then select the keyboard in the host device’s Bluetooth settings. | It can pair with up to three devices. A short press of an Easy-Switch button changes to a paired device. When re-pairing, Logitech says pairing mode lasts three minutes. |
| MX Keys | Turn it on and check that the channel 1 LED blinks quickly. If not, hold the channel key for three seconds, then pair in the computer’s Bluetooth settings. | Logitech also documents a receiver connection for this model; Bluetooth is not the only supported route. |
| MX Keys Mini | Turn it on and check that the selected Easy-Switch LED blinks rapidly. If it does not, hold the key for three seconds, then pair through the device’s Bluetooth settings. | Logitech says it can pair with up to three computers, which can be selected using Easy-Switch. |
Pairing a K380 with an iPhone or iPad
- Turn on Bluetooth in the iPhone or iPad settings.
- Turn on the K380 and select channel 1, 2, or 3.
- Hold the specified pairing key until its light blinks blue rapidly.
- Choose “K380” in the device list.
- If iOS or iPadOS displays a pairing code, type the displayed code on the K380 and press Enter. Do not guess a PIN.
Logitech’s mobile instructions describe the pairing key for this flow; if your keyboard’s layout differs, check its model-specific guide.

If the Logitech keyboard is not showing up in Bluetooth
- Confirm the keyboard is on and the intended channel is selected. A channel that is not in pairing mode will not show the rapid-blink cue described for these models. Hold its Easy-Switch key for about three seconds and check again.
- Keep the host’s Bluetooth device list open. Select the keyboard once it appears. For K380 re-pairing, start the scan promptly: Logitech documents a three-minute pairing window.
- For an iPhone or iPad, check Bluetooth and follow the displayed code prompt. If asked for a code, enter the one shown on screen using the physical keyboard, then press Enter.
- Verify the exact model. The K380, MX Keys, and MX Keys Mini instructions are similar but not identical. If the key names or light behavior differ, find the guide for your specific Logitech keyboard rather than assuming every model uses the same controls.
- Consider a receiver only if your model supports one. Logitech documents a receiver option for MX Keys, but that is a separate connection route, not a universal requirement or Bluetooth troubleshooting fix.
Switching between devices after pairing
The K380 and MX Keys Mini support up to three paired devices. Use the corresponding Easy-Switch channel to select one; on the K380, Logitech specifies a short press to switch among devices already paired. Pairing a device and switching to one already paired are separate actions: the rapid-blink procedure is for entering pairing mode.
