When iPhone Duo preorders open
Apple says preorders begin October 16, 2026, at 5 a.m. PT in more than 70 countries and regions. Availability in those markets is scheduled to begin October 23. Twenty-eight additional countries and regions are scheduled to get availability beginning October 30. Apple’s product page lists a starting price of $1,999. The announced date is the preorder opening, not a promise that every configuration will be available for delivery on the first availability date.

- Check your local market. Open the iPhone Duo page for your country or region and confirm whether its schedule begins October 16 or later.
- Choose your preferences in advance. Decide on storage, color, payment method, and whether you may trade in a device. Before orders open, the cited sources do not establish inventory or delivery timing for individual configurations.
- Go to a named seller when ordering opens. Apple identifies Apple.com, select carriers, and partner stores as sales channels. Use Apple’s site or navigate independently to the seller’s own site; the announcement does not provide a complete retailer list.
- Read the live checkout estimate. Compare the delivery date shown for your chosen configuration with any available in-store pickup option. Check the estimate again if your preferred option changes.

How to judge whether a delivery date is slipping

Apple announced an iPhone Duo Case and a separate iPhone Duo Folio with Kickstand, both available to order October 16. Apple lists U.S. prices of $79 for the case and $129 for the folio. These are accessory prices, not preorder discounts; neither accessory is required to order the phone or changes its delivery estimate.
