You can play Sifu on an Android phone or iPhone by streaming it from a gaming PC with Steam Link or from a PS4 or PS5 with PS Remote Play. The phone is the screen and input endpoint; these documented options do not install or run a native phone edition. You need the game on the host device, a compatible controller (or supported on-screen controls), and a reliable network.
Choose the streaming route that matches where you own Sifu

Streaming sends the host’s video and audio to the phone and returns input to the host, so responsiveness and picture quality depend on the network. A controller does not replace the PC or console.

Play the Steam PC version with Steam Link
- Install Sifu on a Windows PC through Steam and sign in to Steam on that PC. Steam’s support listing for Sifu gives the Windows PC minimum requirements.
- Install the Steam Link app on your phone. Valve lists Android 5.0 or later and iPhone/iPad devices as supported client platforms on its Remote Play page.
- Connect the phone and PC to the network, pair a compatible controller with the phone, then use Steam Link to connect to the PC and launch the game.
- For Android Steam Link, Valve recommends a 5 GHz wireless router. A stable connection matters because gameplay is streamed rather than rendered by the phone.
Valve specifically lists Xbox One S Controller, DualShock 4 on Android 9.0 or later, Razer Kishi, and Raiju Mobile as supported inputs for Android Steam Link. Other devices may work, but Valve does not officially support every controller. Check current Steam Link and iOS compatibility information before buying a controller for an iPhone.

Play the PlayStation version with PS Remote Play
- Make sure you can use a PS4 or PS5 with Sifu installed and connected to broadband. The PlayStation Sifu page marks Remote Play as supported.
- Install the free PS Remote Play app on your phone and sign in with the account used for the console. PlayStation’s Remote Play support guide explains that a PS4 or PS5 console is required to stream to other devices.
- Pair a controller supported by your phone’s operating system, or use the app’s on-screen controls where supported. Compatibility depends on the device and OS version.
- Connect the phone and console to broadband. PlayStation specifies at least 5 Mbps and recommends at least 15 Mbps for a better Remote Play experience; actual performance varies with the network and mobile carrier.
PlayStation controller and OS requirements
- iPhone or iPad: DualShock 4 support is documented for iOS 14 or later; DualSense support is documented for iOS 14.5 or later.
- Android: PS Remote Play on-screen controls are documented from Android 9; DualShock 4 Bluetooth support from Android 10; DualSense support from Android 12.
PlayStation also identifies Backbone One compatibility for selected phone OS versions. Check the current Remote Play support guide for the exact device and software combination before purchasing; a compatibility listing is not a guarantee that every phone/controller combination works.

Know what cloud streaming does—and does not—replace
PlayStation’s Sifu page says PS5 and PS Portal cloud streaming for the game is supported only with a Premium subscription. That is distinct from ordinary PS Remote Play, which streams from your own PS4 or PS5 console. Confirm current subscription and regional availability before relying on cloud streaming; neither option establishes a native Android or iPhone release.

What to check if the controller or stream does not work
- The game is not available to launch: Confirm that Sifu is installed on the PC or console you are connecting to and that you are signed into the relevant account.
- The controller is not recognized: Check the phone OS minimum for the selected app and controller. Steam’s named Android controller support does not imply universal support for other devices; PlayStation controller support has specific OS thresholds.
- The picture stutters or controls feel delayed: Check the network between phone and host. For Android Steam Link, Valve recommends a 5 GHz router; for PS Remote Play, PlayStation’s guidance is at least 5 Mbps, with 15 Mbps recommended for a better experience.
- You do not have a host: A controller and phone alone cannot run the game using either documented method. Steam Link needs the gaming PC; PS Remote Play needs the PS4 or PS5.
