Choose one compact Dallas neighborhood for most of your stops, then add a second only when its transit connection is worth the extra leg. Downtown is the interchange for DART’s four rail lines; Deep Ellum has a rail station, and the Dallas Streetcar links downtown’s Union Station with Bishop Arts. Those connections help, but they do not include the walk to a stop, waiting, transfers, or time at each restaurant.
Choose a neighborhood before choosing a route
The simplest way to keep a brunch crawl moving is to treat one district as the main event. Pick two or three venues there, check that their brunch windows overlap with your planned visit, and avoid adding far-flung neighborhoods just because they appear on the same transit map.

Bishop Arts
Bishop Arts works well as a single-district outing. Paradiso lists Saturday–Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 308 N. Bishop Avenue. Lunami Latin Cuisine lists brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and gives a Bishop Arts address; its website lists daytime hours Wednesday through Sunday. Oddfellows is also in Bishop Arts, posts daily hours, and says it does not take brunch reservations. Check current hours and venue status before setting a sequence. Deep Ellum
Elm & Good lists all-day brunch from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2551 Elm Street. The restaurant says Deep Ellum DART station is about a five-minute walk from its entrance; treat that as the venue’s estimate and check the route from your own starting point. Elm & Good brunch information.

Uptown
Good Graces lists Saturday–Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3033 Fairmount Street. Use DART’s trip planner to check the last-mile connection for the date and origin you have in mind. Good Graces brunch details.
Know what transit connections can—and cannot—do
DART’s four rail lines converge through downtown, making it a useful interchange for rail-served districts. Deep Ellum has its own DART Rail station. Bishop Arts connects with downtown via the Dallas Streetcar, which serves Oak Cliff and Union Station. Visit Dallas reports 20-minute streetcar frequency; check current schedules and alerts rather than treating that interval as a guaranteed wait on your travel day. Rail frequency depends on time: DART’s current rail overview says trains run every 15 minutes during peak periods, every 20 minutes midday, and every 30 minutes late at night. A separate DART service overview gives a 20-minute interval for midday and weekends and notes that bus schedules vary by neighborhood. Holiday service may differ. These are service intervals, not door-to-door itinerary times. DART transit service overview.

Build the crawl around the day you are actually going
- Choose the date and first seating window. Several listed venues offer brunch only on weekends; Lunami’s page lists broader weekly daytime hours. Confirm the current brunch window for each stop.
- Choose two or three venues in one district. Check hours and reservation policies before planning a timed progression. Oddfellows, for example, says it does not take brunch reservations.
- Enter exact restaurant addresses in DART’s trip planner. Use the timetable for your travel date and include bus legs, transfers, walking, and potential waits. Pay particular attention to holidays, late starts, and routes involving buses.
- Decide whether a second district earns its place. For Bishop Arts plus another neighborhood, check the streetcar and rail schedules first: the streetcar connects Bishop Arts/Oak Cliff with downtown Union Station, and downtown is the rail interchange. Allow time for the walks at both ends.
- Recheck before departure. Confirm restaurant hours and reservations, then check DART schedules and service alerts shortly before leaving.
DART’s downtown map shows central districts including Uptown, Deep Ellum, and the Arts District, as well as bus-frequency bands. The map is effective February 2, 2026; DART directs riders to individual timetables or DART.org for specific route and schedule details. DART downtown map; DART schedules.

Compare crawl options by friction, not map distance
A route can look compact on a map and still consume time through waiting, transfers, and walks. Before committing, compare plans using the factors that determine how much of the day is spent moving:
- How many distinct neighborhoods the plan visits.
- Whether the venues’ verified brunch windows overlap with your intended timing.
- How far each restaurant is from its transit stop.
- How many transfers the itinerary requires, plus the expected wait for the selected day and time.
- Whether the restaurants’ reservation policies suit a timed sequence.
Exact journey times depend on the addresses, date, departure time, and current service. Use DART’s trip planner and timetable once those details are set rather than applying one travel-time assumption to the whole city.
