Identify which Rematch controller you have
Turtle Beach sells separate Rematch Wireless and Rematch Wired controllers made for Nintendo Switch 2. Check the model before following a setup path: the wireless controller pairs using a sync button and has a rechargeable battery; the wired controller connects by USB and does not need a battery.

These compatibility and performance details apply to the Switch 2-specific models, not automatically to every controller sold under the Rematch name.

- Turn on the Switch 2 and use a connected Joy-Con to open Controllers > Change Grip/Order.
- Press and hold the sync button on the Rematch Wireless Controller for three seconds.
- When the console is ready, press L and R on the Rematch to complete the connection.
If the wireless controller was paired previously but does not reconnect, return to Controllers > Change Grip/Order and press L and R when prompted. The controller includes a USB-C charging cable.

Set up the Rematch Wired Controller
- Plug the controller’s USB cable into a USB port on the Nintendo Switch 2 dock.
- Wait for the controller to connect. If it does not, open System Settings > Controllers and Sensors > Change Grip/Order. You can also choose Change Grip/Order from the Controllers menu on the Home screen.
- Press L and R on the controller when prompted.
The Switch 2-specific wired model uses its cable for the connection and does not require a battery.
Check model generation if the instructions do not match
Older Rematch controllers have different Switch 2 notes. Turtle Beach says its earlier wireless Rematch works with Switch 2, but its C Button is unavailable on that console. By contrast, Turtle Beach describes the C Button on the Switch 2-specific wireless model as providing quick access to GameChat features. The older wired Rematch FAQ lists the original Switch and Switch OLED when used with the dock; the Switch 2-specific wired product page explicitly lists Switch 2 compatibility.

If your controller’s buttons or listed features differ from these steps, check its exact model name and generation rather than assuming all Rematch controllers support the same Switch 2 features.
