Find the module number on the watch’s case back, open its CASIO operation guide, and follow the phone-connection instructions for that module.
Before you pair: identify the module and the right app
Look for the module number engraved on the watch’s case back. Use that number to find the matching guide on CASIO’s watch support site, then check its phone-connection section and compatibility information. Do not choose an app or button sequence based on the G-SHOCK name alone.

CASIO guides for representative modules specify different apps: Modules 3464 and 3567 use CASIO WATCHES, Module 3475 uses G-SHOCK MOVE, and Module 5594 uses G-SHOCK Connected. These examples are not a complete current model-to-app list; the guide for your module is the authority.

- Install the app named in your module’s guide.
- Turn on Bluetooth on the phone. If the phone asks whether the app may use Bluetooth, allow access.
- Keep the watch and phone near each other during setup. The Module 3464 guide specifies within one meter; other modules may give different instructions.
Pair a Module 3464 watch
The steps below apply to Module 3464 only. Use the instructions in your own guide if your module number differs.

- Install CASIO WATCHES on the phone and enable Bluetooth.
- Put the watch in Timekeeping Mode and keep the phone within one meter of it.
- In CASIO WATCHES, open the My Watch tab, tap the add control, and follow the registration prompts.
- On the watch, hold D for at least two seconds. Release it when the Bluetooth mark starts flashing.
- Wait for the connection. CASIO says the mark stops flashing once connection is established.
If the watch will not connect
Work through these checks in order. Button and mode instructions vary by module, so use the exact reconnection steps in your guide.
- Check support and settings. Verify phone compatibility, the app named in the watch guide, phone Bluetooth, and any Bluetooth permission shown for the app.
- Start connection the way your module requires. For Module 3567, CASIO says to open CASIO WATCHES and hold C for at least three seconds to reconnect. This is not a universal G-SHOCK command.
- Look for model-specific blockers. On Module 3567, a stopwatch measurement or timer operation in progress prevents connection, and the watch’s manual says phone Airplane Mode prevents connection.
- Clear old pairing information if needed. If the preceding checks do not work, remove saved pairing information as instructed by the app, phone, and watch guide, then pair again. The exact deletion steps depend on the phone and module.
- Use only the correct watch-side reset sequence. For Module 5594, CASIO’s clearing procedure starts in Timekeeping Mode: enter the setting display, make the seconds flash, then hold C until “PAIR CLR” stops flashing. Do not use this sequence on another module unless its guide instructs you to.
Some CASIO troubleshooting guidance also mentions changing a BT Smart setting on certain phones. Treat this as a device-specific check, not a general pairing requirement; consult your module’s guide and phone instructions before changing it.

Where to find model-specific instructions
Use the module number on the case back to locate the matching operation guide and its connection or troubleshooting section. CASIO’s manuals also direct users to the manufacturer’s phone-compatibility information. Compatibility, app names, and phone settings can change, so confirm them for your specific watch and current phone rather than assuming every G-SHOCK works with every smartphone.
