There you can check RSVP statuses, change a guest’s reply or additional guest count, resend an invitation, remove a guest, and adjust event-wide controls. Apple calls the screen Manage Guests in some instructions and Invite Guests in another.
Open the event’s guest-management screen
On iPhone
- Open the Apple Invites app and select the event.
- Tap Manage Guests to view the guest list. Apple’s RSVP-request instructions use Invite Guests for this guest-list screen.
On iCloud.com
- Sign in at icloud.com/invites.
- Select the event and choose Manage Guests.
Apple documents both the iPhone app and iCloud.com as ways to manage an event. Feature availability can vary by country or region; Apple does not give a specific operating-system or app version for these instructions. Apple’s iPhone guide

Read RSVP statuses and follow up
The guest list groups invitees into four response categories:

- Not Going: the guest declined.
- Maybe: the guest is undecided.
- Not Responded: no reply is recorded.
Use these groups to identify unanswered invitations or replies that need correction. Apple’s guest-list instructions describe the response categories and available host actions.

Change a guest’s reply or guest count
In the iPhone app
- Open the event’s guest-management screen.
- Open the action menu beside the guest’s name.
- Choose Edit Reply, then change the response or the number of additional guests.
On iCloud.com
Select the guest’s response to change it, or adjust the additional guest count in the guest list. Apple says the guest is notified when a host changes their reply; do not treat an edit as silent. Apple’s iCloud guest-list guide
Resend an invitation, allow guest invitations, or remove someone
- Resend an individual invitation: open that guest’s invitation information and copy the invitation link to share again. Apple describes individual invitation links as unique and usable once.
- Let a guest invite others: enable Allow to invite others for the selected guest.
- Remove a guest: choose Remove from Event. Apple says the guest is notified when removed.

Choose how people can join
Apple Invites supports different invitation approaches. The main distinction is how much control the host wants over entry and how much effort it takes to distribute invitations:

Require approval for public-link requests
- Open the event’s Event Settings.
- Turn on Approve Guests.
- When someone requests to join through a public link, choose Approve to add them or Deny to reject the request.
Apple says denying a request also blocks that person from requesting again; choose Unblock to reverse the block. Approval applies to public-link invitations, not individual invitations, whose recipients can join automatically. A guest whose request is pending must wait for the host’s decision. Set additional-guest limits or pause replies
In Event Settings, review the controls that apply across the event:

- Additional Guests controls whether invitees can bring additional guests.
- Approve Guests requires host approval for people requesting access through a public link.
- Pause Replies prevents additional people from responding.
These settings address different needs: control over plus-ones, screening public-link requests, and stopping further responses. Apple’s event-settings instructions

Guests can RSVP Going, Not Going, or Maybe in the app or on iCloud.com. They can edit the name and image or initials shown on the guest list, and may add a message visible to the host and other guests. Guests can also leave an event to remove themselves from its list.
