To loop one Marathi song in OBS, add it as a Media Source and enable Loop. For multiple songs, use a VLC Video source, arrange the files in a playlist, and enable Loop Playlist. These settings repeat playback; they do not keep a broadcast online if OBS, your computer, power, or internet connection stops. Before going live, test the transitions, check YouTube’s preview, and confirm you have the rights to stream every recording and composition.
Choose the right OBS source

OBS lists MP3, AAC, OGG, and WAV as supported audio formats, and MP4, TS, MOV, FLV, MKV, AVI, GIF, and WebM as supported video formats. For VLC Video, match VLC’s architecture to OBS: a 64-bit OBS installation requires 64-bit VLC. OBS’s source options repeat a file or playlist, but do not promise gapless transitions.

Set up a single Marathi song on repeat
- In OBS, add a Media Source to the scene that will be broadcast.
- Open the source properties, select the local audio or video file, and turn on Loop.
- Start playback and watch the OBS audio meter. If it does not respond, confirm the file selection and source audio settings before continuing.
- Preview the end of the file and its return to the beginning. Listen for silence or an abrupt transition, and adjust or replace the file if needed.
Set up a playlist of Marathi songs
- Install VLC if it is not already installed. Use the 64-bit VLC version with 64-bit OBS.
- In OBS, add a VLC Video source and load the local song files into its playlist in the order you want.
- Enable Loop Playlist. Check the shuffle option so songs play in the intended order, and review the source’s visibility-behavior options to ensure the playlist behaves as expected in your scene.
- Test several song changes as well as the transition from the final song back to the first. Verify the audio meter and listen to the preview; looping alone does not ensure a seamless handoff.
Connect OBS to YouTube Live
Check that the channel can go live
YouTube’s eligibility guidance requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days and specifies a minimum age of 16. First-time live-stream activation can take up to 24 hours, so do not leave activation until the scheduled start.

- In YouTube Studio, create or select an encoder stream.
- Copy the stream’s server URL and stream key into OBS’s stream settings.
- Treat the stream key like a password: keep it private and do not show it in a recording or public screenshot.
- Start the encoder from OBS, then check that video and audio appear in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room preview before starting the public broadcast.
- Monitor the preview and sound after going live. YouTube recommends testing the setup and allowing upload-bandwidth headroom rather than relying on a connection operating at its limit.
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. If you need a replay, plan around that threshold and make sure your music rights cover the archive as well as the live broadcast.

Clear the music rights before streaming
A song being available to play locally—or a license to listen to it personally—does not establish that you may broadcast it. YouTube’s livestream terms place responsibility on the provider to hold the necessary worldwide rights for live content on Google services, including music licensing rights involving artists, record labels, publishers (including public-performance licenses), and other royalty participants. Whether a particular Marathi recording or composition is cleared depends on its rights holders, license, territories, livestream use, and any replay; the setup steps here cannot determine that for an individual track.
- Check the rights for both the composition and the specific recording, and confirm that the permission covers live streaming in the relevant territories.
- If you intend to leave the YouTube archive available, verify that the permission also covers the replay.
- Do not assume a license alone prevents interruption. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content; a match may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn you. Continued use can result in temporary interruption or termination.
- If the music is licensed, ask the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. YouTube notes that even licensed music can be interrupted if the channel is not allowlisted.
- A copyright or Community Guidelines strike may also terminate a live stream.
YouTube Creator Music is not a live-stream clearance route: its help page says catalog tracks may be used in long-form videos, not livestreams or Shorts. The page describes availability for U.S. creators in the YouTube Partner Program and says expansion outside the U.S. is pending.

Understand what OBS looping does—and does not—keep running
Loop and Loop Playlist control what OBS plays. They do not restart a broadcast if OBS closes, the computer shuts down, power fails, or the network connection drops. Nor do they guarantee gapless audio between tracks. Rehearse the playlist and monitor both the OBS audio meter and YouTube’s preview; for a long broadcast, account separately for the reliability of the computer, power, and internet connection.
