If you want viewers to watch prerecorded devotional videos as a live broadcast, create a YouTube Live stream and send authorized files through an encoder or a cloud streaming service. The two workflows are different.
Choose the right kind of loop

YouTube documents playlist looping for normal playback, and separately documents sending an encoder feed to Live Control Room. Its instructions do not establish a universal playlist-loop switch in YouTube Studio; repeating media is controlled by the encoder or automation service you choose.

Repeat a playlist while watching
On a computer
- Open a video that belongs to the playlist.
- Expand the playlist so its playback controls are visible.
- Click the Loop control. YouTube repeats the playlist continuously.
On a phone or tablet
- Start playing the playlist.
- Tap Loop in the playlist control box below the video.
On a TV or console
- Select and start the playlist.
- Open the playback controls and select Repeat until the control indicates “Repeat • Playlist.”
These controls repeat playback for the viewer; they do not publish the videos as a live stream. See YouTube’s playlist-loop instructions.

Broadcast prerecorded videos as a YouTube Live stream
Before you set it up
- Your channel must be verified and must not have a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. YouTube Help says streamers must be at least 16 years old. First-time live-stream enablement can take up to 24 hours.
- Use only recordings you have permission to stream. YouTube requires live content to follow its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service; these rules do not determine whether you have rights to any particular devotional recording.
- Have an encoder or cloud service that can play your files and repeat the sequence. The precise playlist and looping controls depend on that tool.
- Plan for long broadcasts: YouTube says DVR may be limited or unavailable for streams longer than 12 hours.

Create the stream and connect the encoder
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go live. In Live Control Room, create a stream or schedule one.
- Choose an encoder or cloud service that supports playing and repeating the authorized prerecorded files you intend to broadcast. Follow that tool’s instructions for selecting the media and enabling repeat; YouTube Studio does not provide a documented, universal repeat setting for encoder playlists.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key from Live Control Room into the encoder’s YouTube output settings. Keep the key private: YouTube describes it as analogous to a password and an address for the encoder feed.
- Start the encoder output. Check that the feed appears in the Live Control Room preview, then select Go live when it is ready.
- Monitor the stream and the encoder’s playback state. If the playlist reaches its end, the encoder must be configured to start it again if you want continuous playback.
YouTube’s encoder streaming instructions cover connecting the encoder and starting the broadcast. The encoder-specific repeat controls vary, so consult its own current documentation for the exact setting.
What equipment do you need?
For personal repeat playback, YouTube’s built-in control is enough. For a broadcast, the essential piece is a tool that can send your media to YouTube Live and repeat it—not an unrelated camera, microphone, or capture device if you are streaming prerecorded files.

YouTube’s encoder guide describes the AJA HELO Plus as a specialized hardware option, with PlayToStream functionality for scheduling prerecorded media directly to YouTube Live without a computer. That description does not establish support for every playlist format or guarantee a particular Telugu playlist can loop continuously. Common problems and fixes
- You see a repeated playlist but no live broadcast: you enabled YouTube’s viewer Loop control. To broadcast, set up a stream in Live Control Room and send it an encoder feed.
- Live Control Room has no preview: confirm the encoder is sending to the stream URL with the correct stream key, then check its connection and output status.
- The video plays once and stops: enable repeat or looping in the encoder or cloud service’s media playlist settings. YouTube’s Studio workflow does not supply a universal loop switch for an encoder playlist.
- You cannot start a live stream: check channel verification, age eligibility, and whether the channel has a live restriction in the previous 90 days. If live streaming was just enabled for the first time, activation can take up to 24 hours.
- Viewers cannot rewind a long broadcast: DVR can be limited or unavailable once a stream runs longer than 12 hours, according to YouTube Help.
- You are unsure whether a devotional recording can be rebroadcast: confirm permission for the recording and all included music before streaming. A playlist being available on YouTube does not by itself establish that you may retransmit it.
