To repeat Gujarati meditation recordings in an actual YouTube Live broadcast, load media you have permission to rebroadcast into an encoder such as OBS Studio, then enable looping on the source. Use OBS Media Source for one file or VLC Video for a playlist of local files. YouTube’s playlist-repeat control is for ordinary viewing; it does not turn a playlist into a live stream. If you only want to listen repeatedly, use YouTube’s viewer playlist Loop control instead.
Choose between repeat playback and a live broadcast
These are different tasks:
- Repeat an existing YouTube playlist for yourself: open a video in the playlist and turn on the playlist Loop control. YouTube provides separate instructions for desktop, Android, and TV or gaming-console playback. YouTube’s playlist loop instructions cover the viewer controls.
- Broadcast prerecorded recordings as a live feed: use an encoder to play local media and send it to YouTube Live. Looping in the encoder repeats the media; it does not rebroadcast a YouTube playlist automatically.
No Gujarati-specific difference in the YouTube or OBS streaming workflow is identified in the official guidance. The important distinction is whether you are repeating a playlist for personal playback or transmitting its recordings as live content.

Before you go live
- Confirm broadcast rights. Make sure you have permission to livestream each meditation recording and all included music, chants, images, or other material. A recording being publicly viewable on YouTube does not establish permission to retransmit it.
- Check channel eligibility. YouTube says livestreaming requires a verified channel with no livestream restriction in the preceding 90 days. First-time activation of livestreaming may take up to 24 hours, so do not leave setup until the planned broadcast time. See YouTube’s encoder livestream setup guidance.
- Prepare local files. For a multi-recording playlist in OBS, have the files available on the computer and install VLC; OBS’s VLC Video source depends on VLC being installed. The OBS documentation describes the source and its Loop Playlist setting at OBS Media Sources.
- Plan to monitor the stream. A loop repeats the media source only. It cannot keep the broadcast online if OBS stops, the computer loses power, or the internet connection fails.
Loop one Gujarati meditation recording in OBS
- Open OBS Studio and add a scene for the broadcast. In the Sources panel, select + and choose Media Source.
- Create a new source, give it a recognizable name, and select the local recording file. Check that the source includes the intended audio and video.
- Enable Loop in the Media Source properties, then select OK. OBS restarts the media when it reaches the end.
- Check the OBS preview and audio meters. Listen to the start and end of the recording to confirm that the transition suits the meditation; looping does not edit out pauses or abrupt endings in the file.
Loop several recordings as a playlist in OBS
- Install VLC if it is not already installed, then reopen OBS if needed so it can use VLC.
- In the OBS Sources panel, select + and choose VLC Video. Create a new source.
- In the source properties, add the local files in the order you want them to play. Confirm the order and that the files appear in the list.
- Enable Loop Playlist and select OK. OBS’s VLC Video setting restarts the source after it runs through its media files; it does not guarantee the computer or stream will remain connected.
- Preview the source and check that the files play in the intended sequence with audible levels. Leave OBS running during the broadcast and monitor the live output.
Connect OBS to YouTube Live
- Open YouTube Studio and go to Create > Go live to enter Live Control Room. Choose or create an encoder stream as appropriate for the broadcast.
- In the stream settings, copy YouTube’s stream URL and stream key. Treat the key as a password: anyone who has it may be able to send a feed to your stream. YouTube explains the fields in Manage live stream settings.
- In OBS, open Settings > Stream, select YouTube as the service, and enter the stream key (or use the available account-connection option). If entering the server manually, use the stream URL provided by YouTube rather than a guessed address.
- Apply the settings, return to the OBS preview, and select Start Streaming. Wait for the encoder feed to appear in Live Control Room, then review the preview and audio/video before starting or confirming the public event.
- After the broadcast, stop streaming in OBS and end the live event in YouTube Studio. Keep the stream key private; if it is exposed, reset it in YouTube’s stream settings.
Copyright and live-stream interruptions
YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. If it detects material, it may replace the stream with a placeholder, interrupt it, or terminate it. A license alone may not prevent an interruption: YouTube says a rights owner may need to add the channel to its Content ID allowlist. Review YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams and resolve rights questions before broadcasting.

When the loop or broadcast does not work
- The playlist repeats for viewers, but no live broadcast appears: YouTube’s viewer Loop control only repeats playback for the person watching. Set up an encoder feed using local media and YouTube’s stream URL and key.
- A single file stops at the end: reopen the OBS Media Source properties and confirm Loop is enabled for that source.
- A multi-file playlist stops after the last item: confirm it is a VLC Video source, VLC is installed, the files are listed, and Loop Playlist is enabled.
- YouTube does not receive the OBS feed: check that OBS is streaming, the selected service and stream key match the intended YouTube stream, and the channel is eligible for livestreaming. If this is the channel’s first activation, YouTube says it may take up to 24 hours.
- The preview has no sound or picture: check the OBS preview, source selection, audio meters, and the media file itself before going live. YouTube recommends previewing an encoder feed and checking audio and video quality.
- The live stream is interrupted after starting: investigate possible third-party-content matches and confirm the relevant permissions. If licensed material is involved, ask the rights owner about allowlisting the channel.
- The feed ends when you step away: OBS looping does not protect against a stopped computer, power loss, or disconnected internet. The encoder, computer, and connection must remain operational for this DIY method.
