The fastest, least wasteful progression path in Mobile Legends: Adventure is to build one dependable five-hero core, keep its levels close together, and spend resources according to the current bottleneck. Use Hero EXP and Battle Points for ordinary levels, save Advance Essence for level-cap increases, and use level transfer or level sharing when you want to test additional heroes. Upgrade equipment on the active lineup first—especially the frontline survival piece and your main damage dealer’s weapon—rather than spreading enhancement materials across a large bench.
What efficient progression means in Mobile Legends: Adventure
Mobile Legends: Adventure is a free-to-play idle RPG from Moonton. Heroes fight automatically while you are away, producing resources that support further leveling, evolution and gear upgrades. The official Google Play listing also highlights level transfer and level sharing, which let you build additional lineups without repeating every investment from zero. The listing describes a roster of more than 100 unique heroes; it was updated on 8 September 2026.

Efficiency is not the same as having the highest possible account level. It means converting each scarce material into the largest immediate improvement while preserving flexibility for future roster changes. Four questions should guide every purchase or upgrade:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems- Will this improve the team that is currently blocked in campaign, tower or a boss fight?
- Can the investment be reused through level sharing or transfer if your lineup changes?
- Which material is actually stopping the next level, cap, skill or refinement breakpoint?
- Will the item remain on this hero, or is it likely to be replaced soon?
Those questions prevent the two most common inefficiencies: leveling a deep bench before the main team can clear new content, and enhancing equipment that will sit unused after the next roster change.

Know what each progression resource does
The game separates ordinary hero levels, level caps, gear enhancement and several specialist systems. Treating every currency as interchangeable leads to poor spending decisions.
| Resource or material | Primary use | Best spending rule |
|---|---|---|
| Hero EXP | Raises a hero’s ordinary level | Spend it on the active five-hero core; do not drain the stock for untested bench heroes. |
| Battle Points | Supports hero-level upgrades and can be used in exchanges | Reserve enough for the next core-level push, then consider a shop purchase only when it addresses your current bottleneck. |
| Advance Essence | Increases the hero level cap | Save it for cap increases. Spending it as if it were ordinary EXP delays the point at which your core can advance. |
| Equipment | Provides hero-specific combat attributes | Put the strongest, best-fitting pieces on the active lineup before building a spare set. |
| Equipment-refinement materials | Improve equipment through refinement tiers | Hold them for pieces close to a meaningful refinement breakpoint, particularly on heroes that will remain in your formation. |
| Soul-vessel items | Support the soul-vessel progression system | Use them when the hero and team are stable enough that the resulting investment will not be abandoned immediately. |
| Rune stones | Support rune-related progression | Match the rune decision to the hero’s role and your current content bottleneck rather than spreading stones evenly. |
| Crystal tiers | Support crystal progression | Advance the crystal system when its next tier produces a real team breakpoint, not simply because materials are available. |
An official-community FAQ identifies EXP Potions and Battle Points as the resources used to upgrade heroes, while Advance Essence raises the hero level cap. An item directory lists the broader families above, including equipment, refinement materials, soul-vessel items, rune stones and crystal tiers. Costs and drop rates are not universal figures: they can depend on the current version, activity or event, so use the live in-game requirement shown beside the upgrade instead of relying on an old cost list.
Build a main team before expanding your roster
Choose a stable five-hero core
Start with the lineup that can clear your current campaign stage and supports a coherent strategy. A stable core normally has a frontline that can survive the opening exchanges, dependable damage, and enough support or control to keep the formation functioning. The exact heroes are version- and account-dependent; the important decision is to select one team you can invest in consistently.

One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchDo not split every reward among ten or fifteen heroes simply because the roster offers many options. A shallow roster can look versatile but leave every formation too weak to pass the next wall. Build the core until a specific mode requires a second lineup.
Keep levels close together
Raise the five core heroes in a reasonably even pattern. A dramatically underleveled frontline may fall before your damage dealer can act; an underleveled damage dealer may leave the entire team unable to finish a fight. When one hero is several steps behind, bring that hero up before pushing a single favorite far ahead, unless a clearly documented cap or role breakpoint makes the exception worthwhile.
Level balance does not mean every hero must receive identical spending at every moment. If your current formation is losing because the tank dies first, direct the next available level to that tank. Once the immediate weakness is fixed, return to a near-even progression pattern.
A practical leveling workflow
- Check the actual blocker. Open the upgrade screen for each core hero and identify whether the next step needs Hero EXP, Battle Points or Advance Essence. Spend the material that removes the block instead of buying a different resource just because it is on sale.
- Raise the lowest core member. Bring the most underleveled frontline, damage dealer or essential support closer to the rest of the team. This usually produces more combat value than pushing an already-ahead hero farther.
- Use ordinary resources first. Apply Hero EXP and Battle Points to ordinary levels. Keep Advance Essence available for the cap increase that will otherwise stop the whole core.
- Recheck formation performance. Test the team in the stage, tower floor or boss attempt that caused the problem. If the team now survives but lacks damage, shift the next level or equipment upgrade to the principal damage dealer rather than restarting the entire investment plan.
- Use sharing or transfer for experiments. When a new hero might replace someone, use the appropriate in-game level-sharing or level-transfer feature before committing a second full leveling track.
- Collect idle and routine rewards consistently. Idle income compounds over time. Claim the available rewards, complete routine activities that supply your bottleneck material, and return to the upgrade screen before spending on optional exchanges.
The official listing presents level transfer and level sharing as ways to “save time and effort” and instantly level new heroes. Their exact eligibility, interface and restrictions can change with updates, so read the confirmation screen before accepting a transfer and verify which hero gives up the levels.

When to use level sharing and level transfer
Level sharing for low-risk testing
Use level sharing when you want to try a hero in a temporary or secondary lineup without rebuilding that hero’s ordinary levels from the beginning. It is particularly useful for testing a new faction, a counter to a boss mechanic or a different formation position. Sharing reduces the pressure to hoard every new hero until you can afford a complete investment.
Sharing solves the hero-level problem, not every progression problem. A shared level does not automatically make the test hero’s equipment, skills, soul-vessel or rune setup equal to your main hero’s. Test the hero’s role with the gear and supporting systems you can safely provide.
Level transfer when a replacement is confirmed
Transfer is better when you have decided that one hero is replacing another in the main lineup. Before confirming, compare the outgoing and incoming heroes on the four efficiency axes: immediate campaign or boss impact, reuse through the transfer system, material consumed, and the likelihood that the investment will stay on the new hero after another roster change.
Read the transfer preview carefully. Confirm the destination hero, the levels being moved and any material or reset consequences shown by the game. Keep the outgoing hero’s equipment decision separate: a level transfer may move hero levels, while equipment enhancement remains tied to the item and the hero using it.
How to spend in shops and markets
The official-community FAQ lists exchanges for Advance Essence, equipment, hero fragments and idle items. The correct purchase is the one that removes your present progression bottleneck, not automatically the item with the highest apparent rarity.
If a level cap is blocking the core
Prioritize an exchange that supplies Advance Essence when the core has enough Hero EXP and Battle Points but cannot raise its cap. Check the quantity required on the hero screen first, then compare that requirement with the shop’s price and refresh rules.
If ordinary levels are blocked
Use a Hero EXP or Battle Point source when the cap is available but the heroes lack ordinary-level resources. Avoid exchanging away the currency needed for the next core level merely to obtain a small amount of a secondary material.

If equipment is the limiting factor
Consider equipment or refinement materials only after identifying the exact slot and hero that will use them. A general equipment purchase is less valuable than a piece that immediately completes a frontline survival threshold or a damage dealer’s next refinement breakpoint.
Recommended Free Tools
If you are still deciding on the roster
Favor flexible, broadly useful materials and delay irreversible-looking specialization. A community progression guide recommends saving a timed supply item until a useful breakpoint or roster decision is clear; treat that as player advice rather than an official requirement, and follow the item’s own expiration rules.
Equipment: what is permanent and what is not
Equipment is leveled for each hero rather than through one universal account-wide level. That makes gear spending more specific than hero-level spending: an enhancement placed on a rarely used hero does not automatically strengthen the rest of the account.
The equipment reference records a level cap of 50 for Mythic equipment. Level 50 is required before that equipment can be refined to Eternal Mythic III and Eternal Mythic IV. Eternal Mythic III begins granting attribute bonuses when equipped to the corresponding hero. These are meaningful long-term targets, so avoid consuming scarce enhancement or refinement materials on pieces you expect to replace shortly.
Which equipment to upgrade first
1. The active frontline’s survival piece
Upgrade the equipment that most directly keeps your frontline alive through the opening sequence. A surviving tank or bruiser continues to absorb attacks, protect the backline and allow your damage dealer to complete a rotation. If the frontline already survives comfortably, move the next investment to the damage dealer instead of forcing every upgrade into defense.
2. The main damage dealer’s weapon or offensive piece
Next, improve the weapon or offensive equipment used by the hero responsible for most of your team’s finishing damage. This is especially important when battles time out after your team survives. Match the upgrade to the hero’s role rather than choosing a piece solely because its displayed level is higher.
3. Essential support and control pieces
Support equipment deserves priority when a healer, buffer or control hero is failing to cast, survive or maintain the effect your formation depends on. A small increase on a support hero can be more valuable than a larger increase on a bench attacker if it changes whether the team reaches its key ability cycle.

4. Secondary sets and bench heroes
Only after the active lineup has serviceable gear should you build a second set. Reserve enhancement materials for heroes that are being stored, tested or used only in a future mode unless that hero is required to clear a present stage.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Faction-matched equipment: verify before you commit
Some community guides claim that faction-matched equipment can provide a 30% base-stat boost for the corresponding faction and recommend prioritizing matching gear. That claim is community-sourced and may depend on the current rules or terminology. Check the live in-game tooltip or current patch notes before spending expensive materials on a faction match. If the bonus is shown for your version, compare it with the immediate value of a higher-level off-faction piece and use the option that improves the active hero’s actual role.
Use refinement breakpoints instead of random enhancement
Enhancing every item by one level can consume materials without changing a fight. A better approach is to identify a breakpoint: Mythic level 50 for access to Eternal Mythic III or IV refinement, the first attribute bonus on Eternal Mythic III for its corresponding hero, or a defensive or offensive threshold that changes whether the hero survives or finishes a target.
- Open the equipment detail screen and note the current level, next refinement requirement and resulting attributes.
- Confirm that the item is on a core hero and is likely to remain there after your next roster decision.
- Calculate whether your stored enhancement and refinement materials reach the breakpoint now. If they do not, save them rather than scattering them across unrelated items.
- After the refinement, retest the same campaign, tower or boss encounter that established the need for the upgrade.
Equipment refinement, soul-vessel items, rune stones and crystal tiers are separate material families. Do not trade away one family to solve a problem caused by another unless the exchange directly advances the hero or breakpoint you have selected.
Decision framework for competing upgrades
| Situation | First question | Usually the efficient move |
|---|---|---|
| The team dies before dealing meaningful damage | Which frontline hero or equipment slot fails first? | Raise the lowest frontline level and improve that hero’s survival equipment before adding another attacker. |
| The team survives but times out | Which hero supplies the finishing damage? | Use the next level or offensive equipment upgrade on the primary damage dealer. |
| A new hero may replace a core member | Can the hero be tested without a second full investment? | Use level sharing first; transfer levels after the replacement is confirmed. |
| The core has EXP and Battle Points but cannot advance | Is the level cap the blocker? | Save or acquire Advance Essence rather than spending more ordinary-level resources. |
| A Mythic item is near a refinement threshold | Will this item stay on a core hero? | Concentrate enhancement toward level 50 and the relevant Eternal Mythic breakpoint. |
| A shop offers several attractive materials | Which material blocks the next useful upgrade? | Exchange for that bottleneck only after checking the live price and requirement. |
Daily and weekly progression checklist
- Claim idle rewards and inspect whether a timed supply item is close to expiring.
- Check the five core heroes for the lowest level and the next cap requirement.
- Spend Hero EXP and Battle Points on the core, preserving the amount needed for the next planned level push.
- Reserve Advance Essence for cap increases rather than ordinary levels.
- Review the active formation’s equipment and identify one survival, damage or support breakpoint.
- Collect routine activity rewards that supply the identified bottleneck.
- Review markets and shops only after checking the live upgrade screen.
- Use level sharing for a low-risk hero experiment and level transfer for a confirmed replacement.
- Retest the content that currently blocks progress before changing the entire team.
Mistakes that slow account growth
Leveling the whole roster evenly
Equal investment across every available hero leaves the campaign team underpowered. Keep the main five close together and use sharing or transfer to make additional heroes playable when needed.
Spending Advance Essence like ordinary EXP
Advance Essence serves the level cap. If you consume it without a cap requirement, the next cap wall arrives sooner and can leave your accumulated EXP unusable for the progression step you actually need.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Upgrading gear on a temporary hero
Hero levels can be shared or transferred, but equipment enhancement remains tied to the item and its current user. Delay expensive gear work until the hero’s place in the lineup is reasonably secure.
Best Value
Chasing an unverified faction bonus
A community claim is not a guarantee for every patch or tooltip. Confirm the stated 30% bonus in your current game before sacrificing a stronger, already-upgraded piece.
Buying whatever the shop highlights
Shop offers change the shape of your inventory, not necessarily your combat results. Compare each exchange with the next cap, level, equipment or refinement requirement and buy only the material that removes a real block.
How to tell whether an upgrade worked
Use the same test before and after an upgrade: the campaign stage, tower floor or boss attempt that exposed the weakness. Record whether the frontline survives longer, whether the damage dealer finishes before the timer, or whether a support hero reaches the required ability cycle. If the result does not change, stop repeating the same type of purchase and reassess the bottleneck. A higher number on the inventory screen matters only when it changes the encounter your account is trying to clear.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Because the game receives updates and event rules can change, treat the current hero screen, equipment tooltip, shop price and patch notes as authoritative for exact costs, eligibility and bonuses. No reliable universal table establishes current Hero EXP costs, Advance Essence costs, equipment enhancement costs or drop rates across all versions and activities.
The efficient long-term pattern
Concentrate ordinary leveling on one stable team, keep those five heroes close in level, and hold Advance Essence for the cap that unlocks the next step. Let level sharing and transfer provide flexibility when the roster changes instead of funding a complete second leveling track. For equipment, prioritize the active frontline, then the principal damage dealer, then support pieces that affect survival or ability cycles. Push Mythic gear toward level 50 only when the item belongs to a core hero and the Eternal Mythic refinement breakpoint is worth the materials.
This pattern turns idle income, shop exchanges and event rewards into measurable progress while preserving the option to adapt when a new hero, mode or patch changes the best formation.
