To make Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro earbuds last longer between charges, turn off audio and smart features you do not need, enable or review Auto Power Off, and put the earbuds back in their case when you are finished. Soundcore’s published figures show shorter playback when ANC, Dolby Audio, and Smart Voice Control are all active—but they are manufacturer lab claims, not guaranteed everyday results.
What battery life does Soundcore claim?
Soundcore lists two usage conditions for comparison. The company says actual results vary with usage and settings; its product page attributes the figures to lab testing but does not state a test date or detailed protocol.

Soundcore’s Liberty 5 Pro product page does not provide a figure with all smart features off, or separate savings for disabling any one feature. Treat the comparison as a reason to try switching off features you do not use—not as a promise of a specific extra number of hours.

How to extend playback between charges
Turn off features you do not need
If you have ANC, Dolby Audio, and Smart Voice Control active together, try disabling the ones you do not need for that listening session. Soundcore’s shorter published runtime applies to that combined feature condition; the company does not quantify the effect of turning off each feature individually.

Use Auto Power Off and return earbuds to the case
When the earbuds are outside the case and idle, Soundcore says they power off after 30 minutes by default. You can customize this behavior in the Soundcore app under More Settings → Auto Power Off. For the simplest way to avoid leaving them unused and on, put them back in the charging case after listening. See the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro FAQ for the power-off behavior and app setting.
Check charge levels before changing settings
Use the case screen or the Soundcore app to check the displayed earbud and case battery levels. A low starting charge can look like unusually short runtime; checking first helps distinguish that from a change in how long a full charge lasts.

Soundcore claims that a five-minute charge provides four hours of playback. The company’s FAQ also says the earbuds take less than an hour to charge fully, and that wired charging of the case with the earbuds inside takes less than three hours. These are Soundcore claims, not independent test results; actual playback can vary with use and settings. Refer to the product page and FAQ for the stated charging figures.

- Check the charge levels on the case screen or in the app, then compare runtime from a full charge under similar settings.
- Try a listening session with unneeded features turned off, especially if you normally use ANC, Dolby Audio, and Smart Voice Control together.
- Review Auto Power Off under More Settings in the app and avoid leaving the earbuds outside their case when you are done.
Soundcore lists battery capacities of 62 mAh per earbud and 690 mAh for the case in its Liberty 5 Pro support record. Those capacity figures are specifications, not a battery-health test. The official pages cited here do not establish a battery-health threshold, diagnostic procedure, or replacement process. If runtime has sharply declined despite normal charging and settings, contact Soundcore support for model-specific assessment rather than attempting an unverified battery replacement.
