Set ApiFlash’s no_cookie_banners=true parameter on your screenshot request. The option defaults to false; enabling it tells ApiFlash to keep cookie banners and popups out of the capture. If it misses a page-specific banner, use the documented CSS or JavaScript injection options and verify the result on that site.
Enable ApiFlash’s built-in banner removal
Add no_cookie_banners=true to the request. ApiFlash documents the parameter for both GET query parameters and POST form data. Use a standard URL or query encoder rather than assembling a query string by hand, especially when the target URL or other parameter values contain reserved characters.
For a GET request, the request parameter is conceptually:
no_cookie_banners=trueInclude it alongside your other ApiFlash screenshot parameters. The default is false, so leaving the parameter out does not enable banner removal. See the ApiFlash API documentation for the request format and available parameters.

If a banner still appears
Use a page-specific CSS rule
ApiFlash supports injecting CSS through its documented css parameter, and its documentation says CSS must be URL-encoded for processing. Inspect the target page’s DOM, identify the specific banner element, and hide that selector. There is no universal selector that can safely remove cookie banners across websites; a broad rule may also hide legitimate page content.
Test the resulting capture on the actual page and viewport you need. ApiFlash’s reviewed documentation describes CSS injection but does not promise that every banner can be detected or removed.
Use JavaScript only when customization is needed
ApiFlash also documents a js parameter for injecting JavaScript before capture. Its guide demonstrates adding content, not a tested universal cookie-banner remover. Treat JavaScript as a site-specific customization, URL-encode the code as directed, and confirm that the capture is correct rather than assuming a script will work on every site. Keep banner removal separate from capture framing
ApiFlash’s element option captures the first element matching a CSS selector, while crop captures a specified area. These options affect what appears in the image; they are not substitutes for banner removal across the page. Use them when you want a particular element or region, and use no_cookie_banners or a carefully chosen site-specific rule to address an overlay.

- The banner remains: Confirm that
no_cookie_banners=trueis included in the request and correctly encoded. If it is, inspect the page’s DOM and try a CSS selector specific to that banner. - Page content is missing: Review the CSS selector or crop boundaries. A broad selector or crop can conceal content beyond the banner.
- JavaScript has no effect: The injected code may not match the site’s banner implementation. Inspect the captured output and use a page-specific selector or another targeted customization; the documented JavaScript capability is not a universal remover.
- Results vary across sites or viewport sizes: Banner implementations differ. Verify each relevant page and viewport because the reviewed ApiFlash sources do not publish a universal selector, detection coverage rate, or success guarantee.
