You can hide a Samsung One Connect Box in a ventilated media cabinet, move it to another room, or route its cable along a wall or baseboard. The right choice depends on your exact TV model, the cable’s supported length and rating, and whether the box will still have airflow and remain accessible.
Check your TV and cable before choosing a hiding spot
One Connect works only with compatible Samsung TVs, and compatibility is model-specific. Samsung’s US support page says select 2024 Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, and Frame models include and support the box; that does not mean every TV in those families does. Check your exact TV’s manual and setup guide before planning a route or ordering a replacement cable.

Samsung describes its Invisible Connection cable as 3.4 mm in diameter and available in lengths up to 49 feet. That is a manufacturer availability statement, not confirmation that every TV supports that length. Check the cable supplied with your TV and the compatibility information for your model. Choose a location that hides the box without restricting it
Ventilated media cabinet
A nearby cupboard or media cabinet can keep the box and connected devices out of sight while leaving them reachable. Samsung’s setup guidance allows cupboard placement, but its safety guidance also calls for at least 4 inches (10 cm) of clearance between the box and nearby objects, warns against placing the product in a rack or bookcase, and says not to cover its vents. Avoid cramped or tightly closed spaces; keep the power plug and connectors accessible for setup and troubleshooting.

Another room
If a compatible cable reaches, placing the box in another room can make the TV area especially uncluttered. Samsung suggests routing the cable along a wall or baseboard. Confirm the cable length supported by your TV rather than assuming the stated availability of up to 49 feet applies to your model. The box still needs ventilation and a location you can access.
Beside a wall-mounted TV
Samsung says the Invisible Connection cable is designed to attach to a Samsung TV wall mount, which can keep it close to the set with less visible wiring. Whether the supplied mount and hardware support that arrangement depends on the TV and mount. Follow the model-specific setup guide rather than improvising an attachment.

Hide the cable route
Surface raceway along a wall or baseboard
A paintable cable raceway can cover a visible cable run without opening the wall. Samsung itself suggests wall or baseboard routing; using a raceway is a practical way to make that surface route neater, not a Samsung-validated accessory recommendation. Choose a channel with room for the cable and the path its connectors need. A surface raceway does not make a cable suitable for installation inside a wall.

Samsung says in-wall-rated One Connect cables are available and directs owners to follow local guidelines. Use an in-wall route only after confirming that the specific cable is rated for it and compatible with the TV and box. Do not assume the cable supplied with the television has an in-wall rating. If the route involves electrical wiring or uncertain wall construction, consult a qualified installer.

Handle extra cable without damaging it
Do not pull, twist, pinch, or bend the One Connect cable sharply while hiding it. Samsung’s UK setup guidance says to use the supplied bending cover when a bend is needed and to keep stored loops at least 4 inches in diameter. Leave space behind a wall-mounted TV instead of forcing excess cable into a tight coil. The guidance distinguishes between box generations, so follow the manual for your specific setup. Verify replacement cable details before buying
One Connect cables are not universal. For example, Samsung UK listed a 5 m cable, model VG-SOCA05/XC, for a limited set of compatible models; the product page was marked no longer available when checked. That listing is not evidence that the cable fits other TVs or is currently in stock. Verify the exact TV model, cable part number, and local availability before purchase. Placement checklist
- Confirm that your exact TV supports a One Connect Box and the cable route you plan to use.
- Keep the box ventilated, with the required clearance and uncovered vents.
- Choose a spot where you can reach the connectors and power plug.
- Use an in-wall-rated, model-compatible cable for an in-wall route; follow local requirements.
- Protect the cable from tight bends, twisting, pulling, and small loops.
