Find the Nightfall Katana schematic at Mistfall Harbor
- Go to Mistfall Harbor. Look for the waterfall beside the docks.
- Dive beneath the waterfall. Find the submerged opening and swim through it into the cave.
- Reach the cave’s right-side platform. Climb up and open the chest to collect the Nightfall Katana schematic.
Two community guides report this location and route: guide one and guide two. The schematic is a crafting unlock, so collecting it does not put the completed weapon in your inventory.

Meet the forge requirement
A community guide reports that access to the forge in Hidden Mist Village involves Blacksmith Togane’s “The Forge” dialogue quest, available at level 65. Reaching level 65 alone is not enough; complete the quest to unlock the forge.
Check the live recipe before gathering materials
Take the schematic to the forge in Hidden Mist Village and check the recipe shown there. The community guides reviewed confirm the schematic-to-forge route but do not establish the current ingredient quantities or currency cost. Use the live forge menu rather than relying on a recipe for another Nightfall item.

A September 22, 2026 community guide lists the Nightfall Katana with +5.75 Additional Damage, a 1.14× damage factor, and +6.2 Block Points. These are guide-reported values, not independently verified measurements, so they do not establish the weapon’s actual damage output or how it ranks with a particular build.

- If the cave chest does not give you the finished katana, check your inventory for the schematic and continue to the forge.
