It is an Epic topside material obtained by scavenging, so there is no unlock screen, recipe, project, or quest for a “Radial Press Blueprint.” To farm it efficiently, deploy to Pendola Pass, search the Railyard and Almatera Station trains and shelves, check Storm Huts after the 25-minute mark, secure the item in your safe pocket, and extract.
What Radial Press actually is
Radial Press is an Epic topside material with Mechanical and Industrial loot tags. Those tags describe the loot pools in which it can appear; they are not a crafting recipe or a blueprint requirement. The current ARC Raiders Wiki listing gives each item a stack size of three, a weight of 0.5, and a sell value of 3,000 Raider Coins. Those values are attributed to the 2026 item documentation and can change with a game update.

The confusion comes from the word “blueprint.” Blueprints are separate inventory items that unlock workshop recipes. Radial Press has its own scavenged-material entry instead, and that entry currently lists no recipe, project, or quest that consumes it directly. You do not learn Radial Press, research it, or turn it into a permanent crafting unlock.
Why you still need Radial Press
Although it is not a blueprint, Radial Press matters for progression. AllThingsHow’s October 14, 2026 update lists three Radial Press items for the Gunsmith tier III-to-IV upgrade. That upgrade is why players often describe the material as something they must “unlock.” The material gates the upgrade, but collecting and extracting the items is the unlock-like step; there is no separate blueprint action.
#1 Best Overall
- ARC Raiders Deluxe Edition includes the base game and the following content: The Wanderer Set, including the following cosmetic items: “Valente” Outfit" “Pathfinder” Backpack,“Blanket Roll” Backpack Attachment.
- Plus: Character Cosmetic, Finger Gun Rapid Fire Emote, Cowboy Scrappy Body Type and Skin, 2 400 Raider Tokens.
You have two inventory-processing options after a successful extraction:
- Recycle: one Radial Press returns one Advanced Mechanical Component.
- Salvage: one Radial Press returns one Mechanical Component.
Those returns make the item useful even when you are not yet ready to pay the Gunsmith upgrade cost. Selling is possible at the listed value of 3,000 Raider Coins, but selling a piece needed for the tier III-to-IV upgrade delays that progression.
The fastest dependable route: Pendola Pass
Pendola Pass is the efficient farming map because its rail network concentrates Mechanical and Industrial loot. The route below is designed to give you immediate searches at raid start, followed by optional late-raid checks. It does not promise a drop: current guides describe Radial Press locations as chances, and no official published drop rate was identified.

1. Deploy to Pendola Pass
Choose Pendola Pass when your priority is Radial Press rather than general exploration. Plan an extraction route before entering, because the item only reaches your stash if you leave the raid successfully.
2. Search the Railyard train cars first
Begin with the Railyard and enterable passenger and freight cars. You can start this sweep immediately instead of waiting for a timed event. Open every accessible car and check more than the floor: tables, seats, shelves, and window ledges are all worth searching. The Railyard is treated as a high-value zone, so a fast, methodical train-car sweep gives you a strong first chance while you still have time to extract.
3. Check the trains and second-floor shelf room at Almatera Station
Move to Almatera Station after the Railyard. Search the station’s parked trains, then go to the second-floor shelf room. Arc Raiders Hub reports Radial Press on the metal shelves in both yellow and red loot-zone runs. Check both colors rather than assuming one zone type is the correct one, and inspect the shelf surfaces carefully before moving on.

- Capture and Tame Dinosaurs: Discover over 100 different dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures on the island, finding ways to tame them into useful additions for your tribe's dyno herd
- Survive Above All: Hunger, thirst, basic safety, and protecting yourself from the weather are all part of the game
- Harvest, Hunt and Build: Cut down trees and turn them into a basic home, which you can quickly expand into a Jurassic estate. Hunt for meat, scavenge for plants (or start your own garden!)
- Customize Everything: An extensive crafting system invites you to mix and match materials scavenged from the island, while also modifying the colors, textures, shapes, and styles
- Explore the Island: Solve the mystery of The ARK as you explore this massive island, discovering Explorer's Notebooks (filled with clues!) throughout
4. Wait for Storm Huts only if you can accept the risk
Current route guidance places Storm Hut appearances after the 25-minute mark. If you remain in the raid, watch the map for Storm Hut markers, enter each hut, and sweep shelves and floors. This is a second phase of the route, not a replacement for the train-car search: it costs time, exposes you to other players, and leaves less margin for a safe extraction.
5. Secure and extract the item
Move Radial Press into the safe pocket when the inventory rules allow it. Then use a Pendola Pass return point and complete the extraction. Loot that remains on your character when you fail to extract does not become workshop material, so surviving the exit is part of the farm.
Route choices compared
| Method | When it starts | Loot focus | Player exposure | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Railyard train cars | Immediately at raid start | Dense Mechanical and Industrial rail loot; high-value zone | Risk is concentrated around a popular opening area | Best first check, but not a guaranteed spawn |
| Almatera Station | Immediately; combine with the Railyard sweep | Parked trains and second-floor metal shelves | Depends on traffic through the station | More locations to check without waiting for a timer |
| Storm Huts | After the 25-minute mark, according to the current route guide | Shelves and floors inside marked huts | Late huts can be contested | Additional chances at the cost of time and extraction margin |
| Other Pendola Pass areas | Any time | Mechanical and Industrial loot where available | Varies by area | Useful when trains are already looted, but less targeted |
The comparison is practical rather than statistical. The guides do not publish guaranteed spawn rates, so “best” means the most efficient combination of loot density, available time, competition, and escape risk for your raid.

Secondary maps and fallback locations
Radial Press can also appear on other maps where Mechanical and Industrial loot is common. The current route guide identifies two useful fallback areas:
- Dam Battlegrounds: search industrial areas for the same Mechanical and Industrial loot profile.
- Spaceport: check maintenance and hangar areas.
These locations are alternatives when Pendola Pass is unavailable, crowded, or unsuitable for your current objective. They are not documented as having a better chance, and no source provides a comparative drop-rate percentage.

A blueprint has a different lifecycle. Workshop documentation describes blueprints as recipe-unlocking items that must be successfully extracted before they can be learned. In Speranza, the blueprint guide instructs you to select the extracted blueprint and choose “Learn and Consume.” That action consumes the blueprint and adds its recipe to the workshop.

Radial Press never enters that workflow. Its item page classifies it as a scavenged material, not a blueprint, and there is no “Learn and Consume” action for it. If a guide tells you to search a blueprint menu for Radial Press, it is mixing up the material with the upgrade that uses it.

- Confirm that you have enough free inventory space before searching the rail cars.
- Inspect tables, seats, shelves, window ledges, and floors; do not limit the search to floor loot.
- Search both the Railyard and Almatera Station before committing to the 25-minute Storm Hut wait.
- If you find Radial Press, place it in the safe pocket when possible.
- Note the nearest Pendola Pass return point and leave with enough time to reach it.
- Do not sell or recycle the pieces you need for the Gunsmith tier III-to-IV upgrade.
What to do if you cannot find one
No item at the first train cars
That is normal. A location is a chance, not a guaranteed spawn. Finish the Railyard sweep, then check Almatera Station’s parked trains and second-floor shelf room. Searching both sites gives you more independent opportunities without spending 25 minutes waiting.
The Storm Hut marker has not appeared
Storm Huts are reported to begin appearing after the 25-minute mark. If the timer has not passed, continue with the train and station route. Once markers appear, decide whether the remaining raid time justifies the additional exposure; do not wait so long that extraction becomes rushed.

You extracted but cannot use the item
Verify that the item reached your stash rather than remaining in raid inventory. Only successfully extracted loot is available for workshop use. Once it is in the stash, keep three pieces for the documented Gunsmith tier III-to-IV requirement, or choose recycling, salvaging, or selling for any surplus.
A guide shows different locations
Map mechanics and spawn tables can change with patches. The current documented route emphasizes Pendola Pass, especially the Railyard, Almatera Station shelves and trains, and late Storm Huts. Treat older screenshots or routes as possibilities rather than guarantees, and recheck the in-game map after an update.
Facts at a glance
| Property | Current documented value |
|---|---|
| Item type | Epic topside material |
| Loot tags | Mechanical; Industrial |
| Stack size | 3 (ARC Raiders Wiki, 2026) |
| Weight | 0.5 (ARC Raiders Wiki, 2026) |
| Sell value | 3,000 Raider Coins (ARC Raiders Wiki, 2026) |
| Recycle return | 1 Advanced Mechanical Component per item |
| Salvage return | 1 Mechanical Component per item |
| Known upgrade use | Three items listed for Gunsmith tier III-to-IV (AllThingsHow, updated October 14, 2026) |
Bottom line for the “blueprint” question
There is no Radial Press Blueprint to unlock. Farm the material as scavenged loot: start with Pendola Pass’s Railyard and Almatera Station, inspect the listed shelves and train cars, use Storm Huts after 25 minutes as an optional late check, and extract with the item protected. Keep three for the Gunsmith tier III-to-IV upgrade before processing any extras. Patch changes may alter locations, upgrade costs, or map mechanics, so treat the documented values as current rather than permanent.
