To get an Etsy restock email, open the sold-out listing and choose “Let me know when it’s back” if Etsy shows that option. The seller must have Etsy Plus and enable restock requests for the listing, so the alert is not available on every sold-out item.
Request an alert for a sold-out Etsy item
- Open the sold-out listing, either from its direct link or the seller’s Sold Items page.
- If the listing offers “Let me know when it’s back,” select it to sign up for an email notification.
- If the item has sold-out variations, select the variation labeled “Sold out, waitlist available”, then request an alert for that variation.
Etsy documents buyer signup on desktop and mobile web. When the subscribed item is restocked, Etsy says it notifies the shopper by email. See Etsy’s restock request instructions.

Why the restock option may not appear
The seller controls whether an eligible listing offers restock requests. Etsy says sellers need an Etsy Plus subscription and must enable the feature for the listing. Sellers can turn it on for an individual listing or in bulk through Shop Manager. Etsy also says inventory must be depleted through sales; sellers cannot manually mark a listing as sold out.
If the alert control is missing, Etsy’s documented requirements mean the listing may not have restock requests enabled or may not meet the feature’s conditions. You can contact the seller to ask whether they expect to restock or have a similar item.

A favorite is not a restock alert
You can keep a sold-out item in your favorites or collections, but Etsy does not describe favoriting as signing up for a restock notification. Use the listing’s explicit alert control when it appears. Etsy’s guide to keeping track of items and shops suggests contacting the seller about a similar item or a possible restock.

ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server, not an Etsy restock-alert service. A single request can capture a webpage as an image or PDF; it cannot subscribe you to Etsy’s email alert. For developers who need a page screenshot, this cURL call saves one as WebP:
