Wachete is a hosted web page monitoring service that checks pages on its servers and can alert you when selected content changes. Its documented setup is simple, and its advertised features cover selected page regions, dynamic and password-protected pages, price thresholds, and multiple alert destinations. But there is no independent accuracy benchmark or measured end-to-end alert time in the available evidence, so those capabilities should not be mistaken for proof that every page will be tracked reliably or that alerts arrive immediately.
What Wachete does
Wachete monitors web pages from its servers, so your computer or phone does not need to remain online. Its basic workflow is to add a page, choose how often it should be checked, select the content or value to watch, and configure alerts. You can monitor a whole page, a selected region, a password-protected page, or a media file. Wachete’s homepage describes the service as watching a page and notifying you when it changes; that is the company’s product description, not a measured performance guarantee.

The official feature list also describes monitoring dynamic pages, ignoring frequently changing sections such as ads or dates, setting text and numeric rules, receiving outage alerts, and viewing history, charts, and exports. These are advertised capabilities; published figures establishing how reliably they work across different sites are not provided in the cited material. Wachete feature details.

The available evidence does not establish a numerical accuracy rate, false-positive rate, or controlled test across different kinds of websites. Wachete’s support for selected regions and rules gives users ways to focus a monitor, and the company says it can handle dynamic and login-protected pages, but these features alone do not prove that a particular page will be captured correctly.

For a page that matters, accuracy is best judged against the exact content you need to detect. Select the smallest useful region, exclude elements that change routinely, and confirm that the monitor recognizes a known change before relying on it for a deadline or business decision. If a site changes its layout, login flow, or rendering behavior, revisit the monitor configuration.
Wachete says it retains up to 12 months of history; its price-monitoring page says price values can have up to five years of chart history. These are vendor-stated maximums, and the cited feature pages do not provide an independent assessment of detection accuracy. Feature page and price-monitoring page.

How quickly does Wachete send alerts?
The clearest published speed figure is checking cadence: Wachete says paid plans can check as often as every few minutes, while the free plan checks once a day. That describes how frequently the service checks, not how long delivery takes after a change is detected. The page does not state a measured end-to-end alert latency. Wachete price monitoring.

1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesWachete’s phrases about telling you “the moment” a page or price changes are marketing language, not evidence of real-time delivery. A daily check can leave a change undetected for much of a day; even a frequent check interval does not by itself establish how quickly an email, phone notification, or integration message will arrive.

Is Wachete easy to use?
The described setup is straightforward: add a URL, choose a check frequency, select the page or content to monitor, then configure notifications. Wachete says its Chrome, Firefox, and Edge extensions can add pages with one click. Its feature list describes email and phone notifications, Slack, Teams, Discord, Telegram, Zapier, API and webhook options, and mobile apps. The Google Play listing displayed 3.6 stars from 171 reviews when accessed on October 3, 2026. That is a volatile store snapshot, not a representative survey or a test of monitoring accuracy. Visible comments included one 2021 report of an initial login issue resolved by restarting the app and one 2020 report of trouble logging in to some sites. These are individual anecdotes, not evidence of current, service-wide reliability. Google Play listing.

Can Wachete track a price drop?
Wachete advertises price monitoring, including numeric rules and alerts when a monitored value crosses a threshold. It says price checks can be as frequent as every few minutes on paid plans or once per day on the free plan, and that price charts can retain up to five years of history. Those statements describe the service’s published capabilities, not a guarantee that every retailer’s changing page will yield a correct price reading. Price-monitoring details.

Before depending on a price alert, check that the selected value is the actual price you care about rather than a shipping cost, a different product variant, or a temporary page element. A monitor’s cadence also matters: daily checks may miss a brief discount entirely.

Alternative to try first: ScreenshotNeo
If your immediate need is a point-in-time capture rather than ongoing change monitoring, ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. One GET request returns a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF; it is not a replacement for a service that repeatedly checks pages and alerts on changes. ScreenshotNeo’s screenshots remove cookie and consent banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture, and only clean shots are billed. Its free plan includes 1,000 shots per month with no card, and paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. Its MCP server provides screenshot tools for AI agents.
For Wachete specifically, choose a change monitor when you need recurring checks and alerts; consider ScreenshotNeo when you need clean captures via API or an AI agent. See the ScreenshotNeo documentation for details.
