Restreamer’s documented “Multi Video source” feature is not a playlist for sequentially playing prerecorded files. It adds separate sources that you can switch between. The official workflow reviewed does not show how to queue local videos to play one after another, so there is no verified native playlist procedure to follow.
What Restreamer’s multi-video feature does
Restreamer’s Multi Video source workflow adds another source to the video bar. Once added, a source appears there and active signals can be selected; the feature documentation also describes deleting a source from that stream’s settings. It does not describe arranging prerecorded files in a queue, setting playback order, or advancing automatically from one file to the next.

What the documented source setup supports
The Restreamer wizard documentation covers network sources and inputs such as internal RTMP, hardware devices, Raspberry Pi cameras, USB devices, and SRT. It describes entering a network address for supported protocols and selecting video and audio settings. It does not document selecting local video files or building a prerecorded-file playlist.

The Quick Start explains installation, adding a video source, embedding the player, and optional publication services. It likewise does not provide a playlist-sequencing procedure.
Can you use FFmpeg to make a playlist?
An external FFmpeg setup may be technically possible, but the official material reviewed does not establish it as an integrated or supported Restreamer playlist workflow. Whether a separately configured FFmpeg input can be used depends on the specific Restreamer release and integration. Without version-specific confirmation, it would be misleading to present a command or menu path as an official solution.

If you are considering that route, first check the documentation for your installed version and confirm how the external process would connect to Restreamer and publish through the output you need. The project’s GitHub page links to its documentation. An older Restreamer documentation set is explicitly deprecated and concerns version 0.6.x; it should not be treated as proof of a current playlist feature.
