Use the official LoL Esports schedule as your source of truth: filter it to Worlds, read each match’s localised start time, stage and series format, then open completed entries for scores. For reminders, add an independent alert app such as OP.GG Esports or ScheduLoL, but verify every notification against the live official schedule because times, pairings and stage status can change.
Where the authoritative Worlds schedule lives
The live fixture and results page at lolesports.com is the canonical place to check League of Legends World Championship matches. It combines upcoming and completed entries instead of separating fixtures from results. A Worlds-filtered view shows the event label, date, start time, participating teams, competition stage, series format and (after a series ends) the score.

Use the official page when a third-party calendar, social post or phone notification conflicts with another source. Independent apps can be convenient, but they are not automatically endorsed by Riot Games and may update at a different speed. The official page is also the best place to confirm a delay, a rescheduled pairing or a stage-status change.

What Worlds 2026 currently includes
Riot’s competitive-operations information describes the World Championship as “the pinnacle of LoL Esports.” It states that Worlds 2026 will be hosted in the USA with 17 teams competing for the world champion title. The official schedule currently places the event window from October 15 through November 14, 2026. Those dates describe the published event window, not a guarantee that an individual match will keep its first listed start time.

Because the schedule is live, treat the 2026 dates, team pairings and times as changeable information. Reopen the Worlds view on the day you intend to watch, particularly if a previous match ran late, a broadcast was interrupted or an organiser announced a venue or time adjustment.
How to find a Worlds match on the official site
- Open the schedule. Go to lolesports.com and open the schedule view rather than relying on a news article or an old screenshot.
- Select Worlds. Choose the Worlds event or Worlds filter. Without that filter, regional leagues can crowd the page and make a date look as if it has no international match.
- Read an upcoming entry. Check the displayed date, start time, both team names, stage and series format. Keep the page’s time-zone indication visible while you convert the time.
- Open a completed entry. Expand or select the finished match to verify the final score and result. Do not infer a winner from a team’s position in a bracket or from a notification headline.
- Recheck on match day. Refresh the official page before travelling, scheduling a watch party or setting a recording. This final check catches changed times, pairings and stage labels.
What each schedule entry tells you
- Date and start time: when the listing currently expects the series to begin.
- Teams: the two sides assigned to that entry; a placeholder or changed pairing should be treated as provisional until confirmed on the live page.
- Stage: the part of the tournament, such as Play-Ins or Swiss, shown in the Worlds-filtered view.
- Format: Bo1, Bo3 or Bo5, which indicates the maximum number of games in the series and how a winner is determined.
- Score and result: shown on completed entries and useful for checking the outcome rather than relying on a social post.
Understanding Play-Ins, Swiss and series formats
Play-Ins
Play-Ins are among the upcoming stages displayed by the Worlds filter. When you see a Play-Ins entry, use the stage label together with the date and format to understand where it sits in the event. A team name can appear in several entries, so the stage and scheduled opponent matter as much as the calendar date.
Swiss
Swiss-stage matches also appear as upcoming entries in the official view. Keep the schedule open when a round is in progress: opponents and advancement implications can depend on earlier results. The page’s current pairing and stage status are more reliable than a pre-event graphic.

Bo1, Bo3 and Bo5
“Bo1” means best of one game; the single game decides the series. “Bo3” means best of three, so the first team to reach two game wins takes the series. “Bo5” means best of five, with the first team to reach three wins. The format does not tell you the exact broadcast duration: drafts, pauses and game length vary, so leave buffer time around the listed start.

Converting the listed time to your own time zone
First identify the time zone used by the schedule interface. Then convert that timestamp with a calendar app or a trusted time-zone converter, checking whether either location is observing daylight-saving time on that date. Save the converted time with the date, not as a recurring daily alarm; an overnight conversion can move a match to the previous or next local calendar day.
A reliable conversion routine
- Copy the official date and time exactly as displayed.
- Note the schedule’s source time zone and your current location’s time zone.
- Convert the timestamp, including the date, in your calendar or operating-system clock.
- Set a reminder with extra lead time for the pre-show or draft.
- Open the official schedule again shortly before the reminder fires. If the listing changed, edit or cancel the old reminder.
Do not publish a converted time without its date and location. “10:00” by itself is ambiguous, especially for readers in the Americas, Europe and Asia who may be on different calendar days when the same series begins.
How to check today’s Worlds result
Open the official schedule, select Worlds and move to the entries for the current date. Completed entries expose the teams and final score when expanded. If an entry still appears as upcoming, the series may be delayed, not yet started or awaiting a status update; avoid treating a blank score as a loss.

If a third-party app reports a winner first, use it as a prompt to check, not as the final authority.

Getting notifications when your team plays
The official schedule is designed for verification, while independent services can provide push alerts. Configure alerts only after selecting the correct team and competition, and grant notification permission at the operating-system level. Keep the official schedule bookmarked so an alert that arrives early, late or with an outdated pairing can be checked immediately.
OP.GG Esports
OP.GG’s esports apps page advertises notifications for a favorite team and says that push notifications can be set for each match. It is an independent service, not a Riot-endorsed channel. Availability, account requirements, supported devices and notification controls can vary by platform or region, so check those settings in the version you install.
ScheduLoL
The ScheduLoL Google Play listing describes real-time schedules for major leagues, links to official Twitch and YouTube broadcasts, and “Match Reminders” that can send a push notification before a game starts. The listing explicitly says the application is unofficial and is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by or endorsed by Riot Games. Its coverage and features therefore should be treated as optional convenience tools rather than an official record.

- Install the service from the platform store you normally use and review its privacy and account prompts.
- Choose your favorite Worlds team, not merely a similarly named regional roster.
- Enable match-start alerts; add result alerts only if you want a second notification after the series.
- Allow notifications in iOS or Android settings and disable battery restrictions that could delay background alerts.
- When an alert arrives, open the official Worlds schedule and compare the date, opponent, stage and time before relying on it.

A low-risk workflow for every match
- Plan: Use the Worlds filter to find the entry and record its displayed date, time, stage and format.
- Convert: Translate the timestamp to your location, preserving the date and daylight-saving context.
- Remind: Set a calendar alarm or configure a favorite-team/per-match push in an independent service.
- Verify: Reopen the official page on match day and again shortly before the alarm.
- Watch: Follow the official broadcast destination available to your region; an app’s link is a shortcut, not proof that a stream is available everywhere.
- Record: After the series, expand the completed entry and save the final score if you need a reliable result for a bracket or recap.
Troubleshooting schedule and notification problems
The page shows too many matches
Apply the Worlds event filter. The unfiltered schedule can include regional leagues, making it difficult to distinguish an international fixture from a domestic one.

The time in my app differs from the official page
Compare the date, time zone, stage and opponent on the live official entry. If they differ, trust the official listing and update your reminder. Do not assume the difference is only a daylight-saving conversion; organisers can also reschedule a series.
A notification arrived but the match is not listed
Open the official site, refresh it and confirm that Worlds is selected. The alert may refer to another league, an earlier schedule version or a team with a similar name. If the entry is absent after refreshing, wait for the official page to publish the change rather than following the alert blindly.
The score is blank after the game
Refresh and expand the entry again. Results can take time to be recorded after the final game or after a pause. A blank or “upcoming” state is not evidence of a particular winner.
Push notifications never arrive
Check that the app has notification permission, background activity and an unrestricted battery setting. Confirm that the favorite team and competition are selected, then test with a future match. Keep a calendar reminder as a backup because independent push delivery depends on the device, operating system and network.
The broadcast link does not work in my country
Viewing rights and platform availability can be regional. Return to the official competition page and use a broadcast destination that is available where you are. An app’s reference to Twitch or YouTube does not guarantee access in every territory.
Keeping a dependable Worlds calendar
For a full tournament overview, bookmark the official Worlds-filtered schedule rather than a copied image. Add only the matches you care about to your calendar, include the stage and format in each event title, and set a second reminder shortly before start. After each series, update your calendar entry with the verified score or remove it if you only need future fixtures.
For Worlds 2026, use October 15–November 14 as the currently published event window and remember that the competition is listed as a USA-hosted, 17-team event. Those facts help you plan broadly; the live entry remains the authority for the exact opponent, start time, stage status and result.
