If it happens only in Into the Radius 2, record the exact symptom and contact the game’s official support: official materials available as of October 4, 2026, do not establish a title-specific PS5 tracking or controller fix.
Check whether the problem is system-wide or game-only
Try the affected controller or headset in the PS5 interface and, if available, another PS VR2 context. This comparison is a useful first diagnostic step, though it cannot identify every possible cause.

- It also fails outside the game: follow PlayStation’s support guidance for the relevant controller, headset movement, tracking camera, or Play Area issue.
- It works elsewhere but fails in Into the Radius 2: treat it as a game-specific report. Note the affected controller, button or action, how often it happens, and whether it began after resuming from rest mode, then contact the game’s official support.
The PS5 edition requires both PlayStation VR2 and PS VR2 Sense controllers, according to the PlayStation Store listing. The game’s official materials do not document a specific PS5 tracking or controller bug remedy, so avoid applying PC-only workarounds to the console version.

Sony’s reset is a general controller troubleshooting step, not a confirmed fix for Into the Radius 2. Follow the steps in order:

- Turn off the PS5.
- Use a pin or similar tool to press the small reset button on the back of the affected controller. Sony notes that the pin-like tool is not included.
- Connect the controller to the PS5 with the supplied USB cable.
- Press the PS button on the controller.
See Sony’s PS VR2 troubleshooting guidance. If the controller still fails across PS5 system contexts after the reset, continue through PlayStation support rather than assuming software is the cause; a reset cannot be counted on to repair damaged hardware.
Separate headset tracking loss from controller tracking
Headset movement tracking and controller tracking are distinct problems. PlayStation’s support categories treat headset, controller, and tracking-camera issues separately, so identify which one is failing before choosing a next step.
- Check whether the headset’s view follows your head movement normally in PS5 system contexts.
- Check whether the controller position or input is the part that fails, and whether one or both controllers are affected.
- If headset tracking is the issue, check that the headset cameras have a clear view of the room and rerun Play Area setup in PS5 settings, following the on-screen instructions.
Sony’s manual explains that the headset cameras scan the room to establish the Play Area. The official information available here does not specify a lighting threshold or a game-specific tracking calibration, so there is no verified Into the Radius 2 calibration step to recommend.

Fix boundary warnings and unexpected see-through interruptions
A boundary warning near the configured edge is part of the PS VR2 safety system. Crossing outside the Play Area pauses gameplay and switches the view to see-through mode; this behavior alone does not show that the game has malfunctioned.

- With the headset on and connected, open PS5 Settings > Accessories > PlayStation VR2.
- Inspect or reset the Play Area setup and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Use the scan to expand the area or exclude sections as appropriate, while keeping the configured space genuinely clear and safe.
Sony describes the Play Area setup and boundary behavior in its PS VR2 Play Area guidance. The Store lists Into the Radius 2 as supporting seated and standing play, but does not list roomscale; that is not a reason by itself to enlarge the boundary beyond a safe space.

Into the Radius 2 has a separate Steam PC edition. Its technical support listing says OpenXR is required and HTC Vive Wands and Windows Mixed Reality hardware are unsupported. Those constraints apply to the PC build, not the PS5 edition; they do not provide a PS VR2 console fix.

What is and is not confirmed about the PS5 release
As of October 4, 2026, the US PlayStation Store listing showed the PS5 edition as announced for October 8, 2026, while Spain and several other regional listings showed September 24. The PlayStation Blog announcement dated August 24 also gave September 24 as the launch date. Because these official dates conflict and the US listing’s date was still in the future at the time, post-launch faults and patches cannot be treated as verified here.

These are developer-announced features or targets, not independent performance measurements. It also described a free two-player co-op update planned for Q4 2026; that was a future plan as of October 4, not confirmation that the update had shipped.
