What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
If Arknights: Endfield will not download, launch, or update on PC, first check whether you installed it through GRYPHLINK or Steam: the two clients use separate download and update paths. Then verify Windows and hardware requirements, available storage, and network or server status. Use symptom-specific fixes only when they match the error, and send logs and account details to official support if the issue persists.
First identify whether you use GRYPHLINK or Steam
Endfield’s standard PC client and its Steam client are separate. GRYPHLINE says the Steam version cannot be downloaded or updated through GRYPHLINK; Steam users should manage it in Steam. The cited Steam instructions were published for a limited-access playtest on September 15, 2026, and describe that build as potentially subject to bugs, client issues, or service instability. Check the current availability and notices for your client before following platform-specific steps. GRYPHLINE’s Steam playtest announcement

| GRYPHLINK | Open All Games, select Arknights: Endfield, and use the game page to download or update. | The standard PC client uses GRYPHLINK. Check Windows, hardware, and free space
GRYPHLINE’s January 20, 2026 pre-download notice lists Windows 10 64-bit or Windows 11 64-bit and DirectX 11.1 or later. Its PC specifications are:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems| Requirement | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | Intel Core i5-9400F or equivalent | Intel Core i7-10700K or equivalent |
| Graphics | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or equivalent | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent |
| Memory | 16 GB RAM | 16 GB or more RAM |
The publisher specifies at least 50 GB free, plus another 40 GB for extracting files, and recommends an SSD. These are the figures in its January 2026 notice; check current official announcements for changes. An SSD is relevant if you lack suitable storage or are installing on a non-SSD drive, not as a fix for every download, launch, or network problem. Endfield won’t download on PC
- Use the right client. For GRYPHLINK, open All Games, select Endfield, and download from its game page. For Steam, open the game in the Steam Library; do not try to manage the Steam build in GRYPHLINK.
- Check the launcher version. If you use GRYPHLINK and it is an older version from a previous test, uninstall it and install the current GRYPHLINK client before trying again. The official pre-download notice says those older versions cannot download the official release client.
- Confirm available disk space. Allow at least 50 GB free plus 40 GB for extraction, according to the publisher’s January 2026 requirements.
- Check your connection and service status. GRYPHLINE recommends using a stable network or switching to a better one, and checking server status. A network issue is one possibility, not a guaranteed explanation for every failed download.
- Restart the client and device. Force quit the launcher or Steam, reopen it, and restart the PC if the download still fails.
If the download continues to fail, note the platform, any displayed error, and when it occurs so you can include those details in a support request.
Endfield won’t launch or keeps crashing
GRYPHLINE’s general checklist for login, stuttering, or crash issues puts requirements and network checks before restarts and reinstallation. Follow that order rather than starting with a reinstall:
- Compare your Windows version, DirectX support, processor, graphics card, and RAM with the official requirements above.
- Use a stable network or try another network, and check whether the game’s servers are operating normally.
- Force quit the game and launcher, then launch them again.
- Restart the PC.
- Try logging in on another platform or device, then switch back to the PC client.
- If the earlier checks do not help, reinstall the game using the same distribution platform you already use.
These are troubleshooting steps, not guaranteed fixes. GRYPHLINE’s full checklist is in its official support article.

Endfield update stuck or GRYPHLINK update error
For a stalled update, first confirm the distribution path: update a GRYPHLINK installation from the Endfield page in GRYPHLINK, or a Steam installation from the Steam Library. Then check available space, network stability, and server status. Force quit and restart the appropriate client; if the problem remains, restart the PC. Do not use a GRYPHLINK procedure for a Steam installation.
If GRYPHLINK reports an error, record its exact wording and capture a screenshot before contacting support. The official general checklist recommends reinstalling only after checking requirements, network and server status, and restarting. It does not establish that every update error has the same cause or fix.
Stuck at Releasing Resources 0%
Use this procedure only if the PC client freezes specifically at “Releasing Resources 0%” while downloading in-game update resources. GRYPHLINE’s targeted notice instructs users to replace hgdownloadsdk.dll with the file hosted on its official launcher CDN:
Rank #3
- POWERHOUSE 8-CORE GAMING PERFORMANCE — Driven by the AMD Ryzen 7 8700F with 8 cores and 16 threads, boosting up to 5.0 GHz for smooth, responsive gameplay and the ability to handle AAA titles, streaming, and background tasks all at once

- Cool While Gaming: In conjunction with an ARGB fan Air Cooler, the Codex R2 features four system cooling fans; three in the front and one in the rear to pull in cool air and push heat out of the PC.
- Turn on the Bright Lights: With the built-in RGB lighting, take your gaming experience to the next level by pressing the MSI LED button to cycle through lighting options. Customize lighting even further with MSI Center software.
- Download hgdownloadsdk.dll from GRYPHLINE’s official CDN.
- In the launcher, open Game Settings and locate the Endfield game root folder.
- In that folder, find the existing
hgdownloadsdk.dlland overwrite it with the downloaded file of the same name. - Reopen the game and check whether the resource download proceeds.
This is a publisher-provided workaround for that specific freeze, not a general fix for other launcher or update errors. Follow the instructions in the official “Releasing Resources 0%” notice; do not substitute DLLs from unofficial download sites.
NVIDIA graphics look blurry or stutter
GRYPHLINE says enabling optimization for Endfield in the NVIDIA App may cause blurry graphics or stuttering on NVIDIA PCs. If the symptoms began after using that feature, consult the publisher’s NVIDIA App optimization notice and adjustment instructions.
A separate Hypergryph notice dated March 16, 2026 names GeForce Game Ready driver versions 595.79 and 595.71, and NVIDIA Studio 595.79, as potentially problematic. It suggests temporarily using DirectX 11 from the launcher or reinstalling an older driver through NVIDIA App. Driver guidance can go stale, so verify the latest official notices before changing drivers. What to send official support
If the steps above do not resolve the problem, include enough detail for support to identify the client, account, and failure. GRYPHLINE’s general checklist requests:
- GRYPHLINE Account ID and Game ID.
- Crash logs from
C:UsersxxxAppDataLocalTempHypergryphEndfield. - Player and SDK logs from
C:UsersxxxAppDataLocalLowHypergryphEndfield. - Your device model and specifications.
- A screenshot or video showing the problem.
For the Steam playtest, the September 2026 notice asks for UID, server, device specifications, a description of the issue, and relevant screenshots or screen recordings. It lists in-game support at Settings > Platform & Account > Contact Customer Support and the email address [email protected] for Steam client problems. GRYPHLINE also lists contact routes through its support center.
