To find who has the most followers on TikTok, use a leaderboard sorted specifically by followers, then check each candidate’s handle and displayed total on TikTok. Decide first whether you mean every account or individual human creators: platform, brand, and group accounts can appear alongside people. Treat rankings as dated snapshots, not permanent or official TikTok totals.
Use a leaderboard ranked by followers
Open Social Blade’s Top 100 TikTok Creators by Followers. Confirm that the list is ordered by followers, not likes, following, videos, or an overall score. Those are different measures and can produce different rankings. Social Blade’s API documentation describes separate top-list ordering options for followers, following, likes, and videos, as well as TikTok statistics and daily history.

Decide what counts as a creator
A leaderboard of TikTok accounts is not necessarily a leaderboard of individual creators. The retrieved Top 100 includes TikTok itself and FIFA World Cup as well as people. If you want the most-followed people, exclude platform, organization, brand, team, and group accounts, and label the result accordingly. If you include all accounts, call the list the most-followed TikTok accounts rather than implying every entry is a person.

Find that account on TikTok and compare its handle and profile details with the listing.

Use TikTok’s verified badge as an identity signal only when it appears as the blue check next to the account name in search results or on the profile. A checkmark or claim placed elsewhere in a bio is not TikTok’s verified badge.

TikTok says it considers whether an account is active, authentic, notable, and unique when granting verification; follower and like counts are not among the criteria. As TikTok puts it, “We don’t consider the number of followers or likes on an account when granting verification.” Verification can help identify an account, but it does not confirm a leaderboard rank or a particular follower total. These are Social Blade’s displayed values on that date, not official TikTok figures or lasting totals. Social Blade’s separately retrieved Top 50 follower list displayed Khaby Lame at 162.8M and Charli D’Amelio at 159.7M. The difference is a useful reminder that third-party list snapshots can vary.

When checking two ranking sources or tracking changes, match the scope, metric, retrieval time, and displayed precision. A list including all accounts should not be compared directly with one limited to people; follower rankings should not be compared with rankings by likes or video count. Record the source and date next to each count so readers can see when and where it was reported.

For ongoing monitoring, Social Blade documents daily TikTok statistics and a top-list endpoint in its API documentation. A leaderboard is enough for a quick answer; history and an endpoint are useful when you need to track movement over time.
