After “Pyres of Novigrad,” find Corinne Tilly in the marked house southeast of Hierarch Square. To wake her, investigate the attic clues and resolve the haunting in the cellar oven. Then meet her at the Golden Sturgeon. Spoilers: the cellar encounter gives you a choice that affects Sarah’s later content.
Find Corinne’s house
- After completing “Pyres of Novigrad,” follow the “Novigrad Dreaming” quest marker to the house southeast of Hierarch Square.
- Speak with the owner, Rudolf de Jonkheer, then go upstairs. Corinne is asleep in a room on the upper floor.
Follow the attic clues
- Use the ladder to reach the attic. Cast Aard to break through the blocked doorway.
- Use Witcher Senses to find the Drawing of a Crib and the Rag Doll.
- Take the doll to the side room off Corinne’s bedroom and place it in the crib. The drawing of an oven points you toward the cellar.
Choose how to deal with Sarah
At the cellar oven, Geralt discovers Sarah, a godling. Your choice determines whether she stays in the house or leaves, and affects later Sarah content.

For the expulsion route, the burdock must be bought from an herbalist; it cannot be gathered in the wild. The deal and expulsion routes are different story outcomes, not a simple better-or-worse choice. Afterward, your exchange with Rudolf can also reveal whether Geralt tells him a godling is in the house. If you want to preserve the friendly outcome with Sarah, do not disclose her presence to him.
Meet Corinne at the Golden Sturgeon
- Return upstairs and speak with Corinne after Sarah agrees to the deal or leaves.
- Go to the Golden Sturgeon, west of the Hierarch Square signpost, and find Corinne’s room on the upper floor.
- Discuss Ciri and answer Corinne’s questions. The conversation leads to Geralt’s dream and advances the story toward “Broken Flowers.”
Prima Games also notes that the Sarah choice affects a conversation during “Bald Mountain.”
