If the page is still open, search your browser’s tabs: in Chrome on a computer, use Tab Search or search with @tabs; in Firefox, use Search tabs; and in Edge, use its tab-search feature. If you already closed the page, use the browser’s closed-tab recovery or browsing history instead.
Find an open page in Chrome on a computer
- Select Tab Search in the tab strip.
- Type a recognizable word from the page title or website, then select the matching result to switch to that tab.
Chrome’s Tab Search is pinned in the tab strip by default, but you may have unpinned it. If you do not see the control, use one of these alternatives:

- Keyboard: Press Ctrl+Shift+A on Windows or Linux, or Command+Shift+A on Mac.
- Address bar: Type
@tabs, press Tab or Space, enter a search term, and select the result.

- Select List all tabs at the end of the tab strip.
- Choose Search tabs, type a term that identifies the page, and select the result.
If Firefox’s Vertical Tabs are enabled, use the List all tabs control in the toolbar. You can also type % before or after a search term in the address bar to filter results to open tabs. Mozilla Support: Search open tabs in Firefox

Search tabs in Microsoft Edge
Microsoft describes Edge tab search as covering open and recently closed tabs across open Edge windows. It works with vertical tabs, and results are kept within the current browsing mode: regular tabs are separate from InPrivate tabs. Search for a word from the page or site, then choose the result you need.

Search open tabs on Chrome mobile
- Tap Switch tabs.
- Enter a keyword in the search box and choose the matching tab.

Tab search is for locating tabs that remain open; a closed page needs recovery instead. In Chrome, press Ctrl+Shift+T on Windows or Linux, or Command+Shift+T on Mac, to reopen previously closed tabs in the order they were closed. To open Chrome History, press Ctrl+H on Windows or Linux, or Command+Y on Mac. These are Chrome shortcuts, not universal browser shortcuts. Google Chrome Help: Chrome keyboard shortcuts

Choose a search term that identifies the tab
Try a distinctive word from the page title or website name. The documented instructions describe matching tabs and sites; they do not establish that tab search indexes the full text of every page. If the page does not appear, check that you are searching in the right browser and browsing mode, or use history if you may have closed it.
