Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsChoose the route based on what Google AI made: share an AI Studio project or its code, deploy a browser game as a web app, or publish a separately built Android game through Google Play Console. These are different workflows—Google’s documentation describes web-app creation and Cloud Run deployment in AI Studio, but does not establish a direct export from AI Studio to an Android package.
Choose where the game should go
| Destination | What it does | What you need to know |
|---|---|---|
| Share a project or code | Let someone access an AI Studio Starter App or use its code in another project. | Check the current sharing controls and recipient access in AI Studio. Google’s Starter Apps overview describes editing, saving, sharing, and code integration. |
| Host a web game | Make a generated web app available online through Cloud Run. | Google’s AI Studio updates article describes one-click deployment, but the feature was experimental when that article was published. Check present availability and review the code and deployed app. |
| Publish on Google Play | Release an Android game through Play Console, with testing and review before production availability. | This requires a separately buildable Android app; the cited AI Studio guidance does not describe direct Android package export. |
Share an AI Studio project or its code
If your game is based on an AI Studio Starter App, Google says you can edit it in the built-in editor, save and share it, and integrate the provided code into your own project. The sharing controls and access rules may change, so confirm them in the current AI Studio interface before sending a link or relying on a recipient being able to edit the project.

Sharing a project is not the same as hosting a public game. A recipient may need the appropriate access to view or work with the project, while a hosted web app has its own deployment and access settings.

Deploy the game as a web app
Use this route when the AI Studio result is a browser-based game and you want people to play it online. Google described one-click deployment of generated AI Studio apps to Cloud Run in its May 2025 product update. That article characterized the feature as experimental at the time; current availability and interface details should be checked in AI Studio.
#1 Best Overall
- Confirm the output is a web app. Open and play the generated game in the browser, and identify any external services, permissions, or inputs it relies on.
- Review the generated code. Check what the app does and whether it is appropriate to expose beyond your own account. Google’s update advises reviewing code before sharing a project externally.
- Use the available Cloud Run deployment control in AI Studio. Follow the current prompts; the product article describes the deployment as one click, but does not guarantee that every project or account will have the same controls.
- Test the deployed address. Load it in a fresh browser session and try the game’s controls and key screens. Verify that the deployed version works as intended before sharing the address.
Cloud Run deployment puts a web app online; it does not create a Play Store listing or establish that the project has been packaged as an Android app.
Publish an Android game on Google Play
To distribute through Google Play, prepare an Android app that can be released through Play Console. Google’s Play Console setup guide describes a separate app-creation, listing, and release workflow. It does not say that an AI Studio web app can be uploaded directly as an Android game.
Rank #2
- Prepare a release-ready Android app. You need an Android build, not just an AI Studio project share link or a deployed web app. Google Play uses Android App Bundles to generate APKs optimized for different device configurations.
- Create the app in Play Console. Identify it as a game or app, choose its free or paid status, provide contact details, and accept the required declarations.
- Complete the dashboard tasks. Provide the content information and store listing, then configure the app release and testing as applicable.
- Test and submit for review. Play Console supports internal, closed, and open testing tracks before production. Follow the requirements shown for your account and app.
- Track the release status. Google distinguishes draft, testing, pre-registration, and production statuses. Review may take seven days or longer in exceptional cases; this is not an average or a guaranteed schedule.
Google states that personal developer accounts created after November 13, 2023 are subject to specific testing requirements before an app can be made available. Check the current Play Console guidance for the requirements that apply to your account and release.
Where a motion-controlled AI Studio game fits
Google’s March 2026 example shows an AI Studio-created, Chrome Dino-style web game using MediaPipe Pose Landmarker for camera-based jumps, with the spacebar as a fallback. It is an example of an interactive browser game, not a general Android publishing workflow. Camera input is an optional design choice, not a requirement for AI Studio games.

Which route should you use?
- Someone needs to inspect or continue the project: share the AI Studio project or its code, and confirm access in the current interface.
- People should play it in a browser: deploy the web app if Cloud Run deployment is available for your project, then test the live version.
- People should install it from Google Play: prepare a separately buildable Android app and complete Play Console’s listing, testing, and release process.
