After every purchase or switch, confirm the equipped state and check your treadmill Speed. Trails improve movement and escape speed; they do not replace Pickaxe Power when breaking an egg is the slow part of a run.

What equipping a Trail actually changes
Trails are movement equipment for the game’s treadmill-and-heist loop. You train Speed on the treadmill, travel to a zone, break an egg with a pickaxe, steal the animal, escape its guardian, and bank the animal. A Trail affects the Speed side of that loop: how quickly you move between areas and how much movement speed you can build from treadmill training.

Pickaxes solve a different problem. Their Power determines how quickly you break an egg. If you reach an egg quickly but lose time damaging it, buying or changing Trails will not fix that bottleneck; you need more Pickaxe Power instead.
Equip a Trail after buying it
- Return to the Safe Zone. The Trail controls are available from the Trail menu or the Trails Shop interface there.
- Open the Trail menu. Find the Trail you purchased. Do not assume that being able to see a purchase receipt or shop confirmation means it is active.
- Select the owned Trail. The item should show that you own it, rather than showing a purchase option.
- Press Equip. This is the action that turns on the Trail’s Speed multiplier. Buying it alone does not do so.
- Check the active state. Reopen the menu if necessary and look for the equipped or active indicator. Your character may also display the Trail effect.
- Test it at the treadmill. Stand on the treadmill and compare the displayed Speed with the value you saw before equipping the Trail. A repeatable route is a second practical check.
Only the Trail marked active should be treated as your current movement setup. The published guides do not establish that Trail multipliers stack, so do not plan around combining several Trails at once.
Change from one Trail to another
Changing Trails uses the same menu rather than a separate loadout screen.
- Go to the Safe Zone and open the Trail menu.
- Select the different Trail that you already own.
- Press Equip and wait for the menu to show that item as active.
- Check the character effect or active label, then return to the treadmill.
- Read the displayed Speed and, if useful, run the same route you used with the previous Trail.
When the switch is successful, the newly selected item is the one to use for movement. If the route still fails, diagnose whether the problem is travel or egg-breaking time instead of repeatedly changing Trails.
How to verify that a Trail is working
Use the menu state first
The most direct check is the Trail menu’s active or equipped state. A Trail that is merely listed as owned has not necessarily been activated. Select it again and use Equip if the menu does not identify it as current.

Compare treadmill Speed
Stand on the treadmill after equipping the item and note the displayed Speed. Compare it with the value from your previous setup, using the same character and conditions where possible. This check is more useful than judging the visual effect alone because the Trail’s purpose is a movement multiplier.
Repeat a familiar route
Travel through a route you know, such as the path to a zone where you regularly break eggs. A consistent route gives you a practical indication of whether movement and escape feel faster. Treat this as a confirmation of the setup, not a substitute for the menu’s equipped state.

You bought it, but there is no boost
- Return to the Safe Zone and reopen the Trail menu.
- Locate the purchased item and confirm that it is owned.
- Select it and press Equip; the purchase itself does not activate the multiplier.
- Look for the active label or visible Trail effect before testing the treadmill.
The menu says it is active, but Speed looks unchanged
Go back to the treadmill and compare the displayed Speed with your previous setup. Make sure you are checking after the equip action, not the old value from before the switch. If the live panel shows a different multiplier than a dated guide, trust the in-game panel for the current server.
You still lose the egg run
Separate the run into two timings: travel and escape versus egg-breaking. A Trail addresses movement and escape. If most of the delay occurs while damaging the egg, inspect your Pickaxe Power and improve that equipment instead.
The listed price or multiplier does not match a guide
Prices and multipliers are version-sensitive. Fan-maintained tables can become stale after an update, while the live Trail panel reflects what your server currently offers. Check the in-game price, displayed multiplier, and ownership state before spending Cash.

Published Trail tiers, prices and Speed multipliers
The following table records the 11-tier progression captured by Bloxodes in 2026. Values are guide-reported reference figures, not a guarantee that every live server currently shows the same numbers.

A second guide, published by the TechYorker Team on October 16, 2026, describes the same 11-tier progression and reiterates that each multiplier starts working only after the purchased Trail is equipped. The figures above should therefore be used as a comparison framework, while your current shop panel remains the authority for a purchase.
Which Trail is the best?
There is no single best Trail for every player. The highest listed tier is useful only when you can afford it and when movement or escape is the limiting part of your run. A cheaper Trail can be the better choice if buying the next tier would leave you without enough Cash to maintain the rest of your income loop or improve Pickaxe Power.
Choose by movement bottleneck
- Travel takes too long: move to the highest affordable tier whose live multiplier produces a meaningful Speed increase.
- You reach the egg but cannot escape: prioritize a stronger Trail if the loss occurs during the guardian chase.
- Breaking the egg takes most of the run: keep the Trail that provides adequate travel speed and spend the next upgrade on Pickaxe Power.
- You are still learning the route: verify the active state and practice a repeatable path before committing to an expensive tier.
Use the live panel, not the name alone
Compare four values in the current Trail panel: Cash price, displayed Speed multiplier, whether the item is owned, and whether it is equipped. Names such as “Secret” or “Moonlight” indicate a tier in the published progression, but they do not override what your server currently displays.
Match the upgrade to your economy
Trails cost Cash, and Cash also supports the activities that generate more Cash. Before buying, leave enough currency for the rest of your loop and for a Pickaxe upgrade if egg-breaking is slowing you down. A large multiplier that cannot be activated because the purchase drains your working funds is less useful than a tier you can equip and use immediately.

Understanding the 11-tier progression
The published figures increase from White at 2x to Moonlight at 10,000x, with intermediate tiers of Blue, Green, Purple, Red, Golden, Rainbow, Galactic, Secret and Laser. This ordering helps you compare owned and unowned items, but the exact values can change with game updates.
Do not interpret the table as evidence that every tier is available at the same price in every server or edition. The guides are fan-maintained references. Before a major purchase, open the shop and read the current Cash cost and multiplier displayed for your account.
Moonlight and the current-value caveat
Moonlight is the highest multiplier listed in the cited October 2026 guides at 10,000x and is shown with a guide-reported Cash price of $100T. One beginner guide also records an offer of 100 Trillion Cash or 359 Robux. Those are dated guide values, not a promise that every live server presents the same price, currency option or availability.
If Moonlight is your target, verify all of the following in the live panel before relying on it: the item is present, the displayed multiplier is current, the Cash or Robux requirement matches your account, and the Equip control appears after purchase. The same verification standard applies to every tier.

Example: a newly purchased Blue Trail
You buy Blue for the guide-reported $7.5K price, return to the Safe Zone and see it in the Trail menu. It is not active merely because the Cash was deducted. Select Blue, press Equip, confirm the active state, then check treadmill Speed. If the displayed value does not change, repeat the menu check before buying another Trail.
Example: switching from Red to Golden
You already own Red and buy Golden. Open the menu, select Golden and equip it. The old Red item can remain in your inventory, but only the selected active item should be treated as your movement setup. Run the same route you used with Red so you can tell whether the switch addresses your escape problem.
Example: a fast route with slow egg breaking
Your Trail gets you to the zone quickly, but the guardian arrives while you are still damaging the egg. That pattern points to Pickaxe Power rather than movement. Keep the Trail that provides sufficient travel and direct the next upgrade toward the pickaxe.
Checklist before and after every Trail change
- Are you in the Safe Zone?
- Did you open the Trail menu or Trails Shop interface?
- Does the selected item show as owned?
- Did you press Equip after selecting it?
- Does the menu show the item as active or equipped?
- Did you check treadmill Speed after the change?
- Did you test a familiar route if movement remains uncertain?
- Is the actual bottleneck travel, escape, or egg-breaking time?
- Did you verify the current price and multiplier in the live panel rather than relying on an old table?
What the available guides establish—and what they do not
Bloxodes and the TechYorker Team agree on the core workflow: purchase places a Trail in the menu, and an explicit equip action is required before its multiplier applies. Their published lists also show the same 11-tier progression. The exact Cash prices and Speed multipliers are less permanent because game updates can change them.
