Check whether the demo is available in your region
The parent Vasya Run page currently labels the full game Coming soon and displays the message, “This game is not yet available on Steam.” That message applies to the parent product page. It does not, by itself, prove that the separate demo cannot be installed.

Keep more free space than the nominal 11.37 GiB installation figure. Steam needs room for the downloaded files, unpacking, temporary patch data and its own library metadata. A drive with only a few megabytes above the installed size can fail during extraction even when the initial download appears to fit.

Install the Steam client and sign in
- Install the official Steam client for Windows if it is not already on your PC.

Search indexing can return the parent Vasya Run product first. Work through these checks in order:
- Search the exact phrase Vasya Run Demo, including the word “Demo.”
- Open the Vasya Run store hub and look for a separate demo link.
- Confirm that the selected item is app ID 5368000, not the parent app ID 2709420.
- Check the demo’s own page for an install or download control.
- Sign in to Steam before judging availability; a signed-out browser view may not show the same account controls as the client.

- Remove or move files until that drive has comfortably more free space than 11.37 GiB.
- Retry the download from the queue.
- If Steam offers more than one library, select a drive with sufficient capacity rather than accepting the default full drive.

If the download is stuck or repeatedly fails

- Check that the selected library drive remains connected and writable.
- Restart Steam and sign in again if the queue does not refresh.

Do not delete individual files from the demo folder while a download is in progress. If Steam has to repair a partial installation, letting the client verify or reacquire its own files is less error-prone than manually renaming executables.

- Open the download queue and wait for the demo to show as complete.
- Return to Library and search for Vasya Run Demo.
