Download Adlice Protect (formerly RogueKiller Anti-Malware) from Adlice Software’s official product page. The publisher lists the free edition for on-demand malware scanning and removal and anti-rootkit use; real-time malware, ransomware, and clipboard protection are listed under Premium.
Get the Windows download from Adlice
- Open the official product page: https://adlice.com/roguekiller/. Confirm the address is on adlice.com before downloading.
- Choose the download type: use the installer for a standard Windows installation, or select a portable download if you want to run the tool without installing it. Choose a build that matches your system where the publisher offers architecture choices.
- For the installer, run setup.exe and follow the installation steps. Adlice’s guide says the software can later be removed from Windows’ installed-program list: Installable Version guide.
- For the portable edition, download the appropriate 32-bit or 64-bit file, place it where you want it, and execute it. Adlice documents that this edition does not require installation: Portable Version guide.
Version and Windows compatibility
At the time of Adlice Software’s product-page listing checked on October 7, 2026, the latest version shown was 16.8.4, with support listed for Windows 7 SP1 through Windows 11 and 32-bit, 64-bit, and ARM64 builds. These are the publisher’s compatibility claims, not independent test results. Version numbers, supported systems, and download files can change, so use the official page for the current listing. Adlice says that downloading accepts its EULA.

What the free edition includes
Adlice lists its Free tier at $0.00/year for personal use, with Scan & Remove Malware, AntiRootkit, and forum support. That describes the publisher’s listed features; it is not a guarantee that a scan will detect or remove every threat.
Free is suited to on-demand checking and cleanup. It is not the tier Adlice lists for ongoing active protection: malware protection, ransomware protection, clipboard protection, enterprise use, and email support appear under Premium. Check the product page for current licensing terms and prices before choosing a paid tier.

If Windows SmartScreen warns about the download
Adlice reported on December 19, 2024 that certificate changes were causing SmartScreen to block recent releases. That announcement does not establish whether the issue is still occurring. If you see a warning, verify that you reached Adlice’s official download page and consult the publisher’s current guidance before deciding what to do. Do not assume every warning is harmless or bypass it simply because the software is familiar. The name-change announcement is available at RogueKiller becomes Adlice Protect.

Why the name may look different
Adlice Software announced on December 19, 2024 that RogueKiller Anti-Malware was becoming Adlice Protect. The publisher said the new name was intended to make the product’s protective role and ownership clearer. It also stated that existing subscriptions, invoices, and licenses remained valid without licensing or billing changes at the time of the announcement.
