You may be able to request removal of a delivery-related photo, but the reviewed help pages do not document a self-service control for deleting one image on either DoorDash or Amazon.com. DoorDash does offer account-level deletion; Amazon Shipping, a separate service, describes a recipient data-deletion request. The right route depends on which service took the photo and whether you want one image removed or your broader account data deleted.
First identify which photo you mean
“Delivery photo” can refer to different images, and the available routes are not interchangeable:

- DoorDash customer-submitted photo: DoorDash’s Photos FAQ covers customer-submitted photos of items or orders. Approved photos may appear on restaurant pages; photos submitted with a rating or review may appear alongside that content.
- Amazon.com proof-of-delivery photo: Amazon’s delivery-photo help page explains how to find a photo when troubleshooting a missing package. It does not document a control for deleting an individual photo.
- Amazon Shipping shipment image: Amazon Shipping is distinct from an Amazon.com retail order. Its privacy notice describes a recipient request to delete personal data, including shipment-related images and video.
A driver’s proof-of-delivery image, an identity-verification selfie, and a customer-submitted food photo are not necessarily handled as the same type of data. If you mean a different image, name it specifically when contacting support or privacy staff.

How to request removal of a DoorDash photo
For one customer-submitted photo
The reviewed DoorDash Photos FAQ explains how customer photos are used but does not document a self-service option to remove one image. Contact DoorDash support or its privacy channel and identify the photo, the associated order, and any linked rating or review. This is a request, not a guaranteed removal method; the published FAQ does not promise that DoorDash will remove a specific image on request. The DoorDash account-deletion help page is localized for New Zealand, while the US help-center listing includes support options such as chat and phone.

For broader personal-data deletion
DoorDash documents an account-level self-service route: sign in, open Account Settings, select Manage Account, choose Delete Account, and follow the prompts. This is not a documented way to delete only one photo. DoorDash says pending deliveries must be resolved before account deletion and that it uses identity verification for data requests. The step-by-step page cited above is for New Zealand, so labels and applicable rights may vary by location.
DoorDash’s privacy policy, effective January 3, 2023, says users may request deletion of personal information the company collected or maintains, but also describes exceptions and legally permitted retention. See the DoorDash privacy policy for its stated terms.

How to request removal of an Amazon delivery photo
Amazon.com retail order
The reviewed Amazon retail help page tells customers how to view a delivery photo but does not establish an individual-photo deletion control. If you want one image removed, contact Amazon customer support or submit a privacy request and identify the order and photo. Amazon’s privacy notice describes deletion rights where applicable and lists images and videos among information that may be collected or stored; it does not guarantee that a particular delivery photo can be removed through a specific interface.

If the shipment was handled by Amazon Shipping rather than an Amazon.com retail order, use the recipient request route in the Amazon Shipping privacy notice. Recipients who can log in should follow the notice’s account instructions. Recipients who cannot log in can provide a tracking ID. This process concerns personal data held by Amazon Shipping; it should not be assumed to apply to Amazon.com retail deliveries.

What to expect from a deletion request
Deleting an account or requesting broader personal-data deletion can affect more than a single photo. Privacy rights depend on applicable law, and companies may retain some information where permitted or required. Before submitting a broad request, decide whether you want a particular image removed or all eligible personal information deleted, and clearly state that scope in your request.
