For a true 24/7 loop, the encoder or cloud service must also keep replaying the playlist; YouTube’s setup instructions cover sending a live feed, not a universal built-in feature for endlessly looping recorded lessons.
What you need before going live
- A YouTube channel that is verified and has no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. YouTube’s general live-streaming guidance also sets a minimum age of 16 for going live. See YouTube’s live-streaming guidance.
- Your recorded lessons and permission to use every element in them, including code visuals, music, sound effects, and other inserted content.
- An encoder or automated streaming service that can send video to YouTube and, if you want continuous playback, repeat your playlist when it ends.
- A reliable internet connection and a device or service that can remain active for the intended broadcast. YouTube does not specify a universal minimum computer specification in its encoder setup instructions.
Prepare the lessons and confirm rights
Review every file before building the stream. Make sure you control or have permission for the lesson recording, on-screen material, music, and any third-party clips. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it detects a match, it may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn you; continued use can lead to interruption or termination. Even when you have a license, the rights holder may need to allowlist your channel for the stream to proceed without a match interruption. - Sign in to YouTube Studio and open Create > Go live to enter Live Control Room. You can create a stream to start now or schedule one. Scheduling gives viewers a page to find in advance.
- Choose the encoder workflow and fill in the stream details. Set the title, description, visibility, and audience settings deliberately. Choose private or unlisted while testing; use public when you are ready for viewers.
- Review stream controls such as DVR and latency. DVR lets viewers pause and rewind. YouTube notes that choosing lower latency can increase buffering, so weigh interaction speed against playback stability for viewers with weaker connections. See YouTube’s live-stream settings guide.
- Save the event and keep Live Control Room open. You will need its stream URL and key to configure the encoder.
Connect an encoder and set up continuous playback
- In Live Control Room, copy the YouTube stream URL and stream key into your encoder’s YouTube destination settings. Treat the key like a password: do not show it in screenshots, code, or public documentation. If it is exposed, reset it in YouTube Studio before using the stream again.
- If your encoder supports RTMPS, use it for encrypted delivery. YouTube describes RTMPS as RTMP protected by TLS/SSL; its setup guide is at Encrypt your stream using RTMPS.
- Load the lesson files into the encoder or automation tool as a playlist. Configure that software to repeat the playlist or otherwise continue sending video after the final lesson. The exact controls differ by product: check that the selected software really loops the files and does not stop or switch to a blank scene when playback ends.
- Start the encoder’s output and wait for the incoming signal and preview in Live Control Room. When the preview looks and sounds right, click Go live if the event is not set to start automatically.
YouTube’s encoder instructions explain how to connect, preview, and start a stream; they do not promise that YouTube will restart a finished recording or loop a playlist for you. Confirm looping behavior in the encoder or automation service you select before relying on it for an always-on channel. YouTube’s setup steps are described at Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.

Test and monitor the broadcast
Run a test before announcing the stream. An unlisted event can help you check the full path without making the test public. Confirm that the video is visible, Hindi narration is audible, lesson transitions work, the playlist repeats, and the stream remains active after a lesson ends. YouTube’s operational guidance says to “Continuously monitor streams for audio and video quality.” Also check that any local recording or archive file is growing as expected; these checks are included in YouTube’s live-streaming tips for computers.
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived in its encoder instructions. A continuous broadcast may run longer, so do not assume a long-running stream will be available as one complete replay. Plan separately for lesson replays and confirm the current behavior for your event in YouTube Studio.

Choose where the encoder runs

Yes. Set the event to unlisted or private in Live Control Room while you check the preview and playback.

Does YouTube automatically loop recorded coding lessons?
YouTube’s encoder setup documentation does not establish a general playlist-looping feature. The encoder or streaming service must provide the looping behavior.
Can I use a licensed song in the stream without interruption?
Not necessarily. YouTube may interrupt a live stream after a third-party match, and a rights holder may need to allowlist your channel even if you have a license.
