One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchA creator media kit is a concise, shareable introduction to you, your audience, your work and the ways a potential partner can get in touch. Build it around the kind of opportunity you want—such as sponsorships, user-generated content (UGC), press or a niche collaboration—and use accurate, dated evidence rather than inflated claims. A PDF works well as an attachment; a webpage is easier to update in one place. There is no mandatory section list, so include what helps your intended reader assess fit.
Decide what the kit needs to do
Before choosing a template or opening a design tool, identify who will read the kit and what you want them to do next. A brand considering a sponsorship needs to understand your niche, audience and possible deliverables. A client commissioning UGC may care more about the quality and range of your work than your follower count. A press contact may need a short biography, approved images and a reliable contact route.

Make the opening answer three questions quickly: who are you, what do you make, and why might this be relevant to this reader? A focused value proposition is more useful than a long personal history or a generic claim that you are passionate about content.
Gather the material before you design
Collect source material first so the finished kit is both faster to assemble and easier to verify. Keep the date and source of each statistic in your working notes, even if you do not show all of that detail in the final design.
- Identity: your name or creator-business name, niche, concise bio, and a clear description of what makes your work relevant to the intended partner.
- Visuals: a suitable headshot or promotional image, logo if you use one, and other brand assets that match your existing identity.
- Channels and evidence: links to relevant accounts and platform analytics you can substantiate. Depending on the pitch, useful evidence may include reach, views, engagement or audience characteristics.
- Work samples: a small selection of representative posts, videos, campaigns or portfolio pieces. Check that you have permission to share them, especially if a client or partner is identifiable.
- Partnership proof: previous or current collaborations and testimonials, only when genuine and permitted to share.
- Offer and contact: the services or deliverables you provide, a working email or other clear contact route, and the next step you want the reader to take.
Choose evidence that fits the pitch
Use figures from the relevant platform’s analytics rather than estimates. Canva’s media-kit guidance points creators to Instagram, YouTube and TikTok analytics as possible sources when preparing materials. Choose metrics that help answer the reader’s likely question: audience fit, performance or reach. A UGC portfolio pitch may need strong examples of the work more than a long list of channel statistics.
Label a figure accurately and preserve its measurement period. Do not imply a monthly average if you have only checked one post, describe a snapshot as a trend, or present audience demographics that the platform has not supplied. If a number may change quickly, include an “updated” date near the statistics and refresh it before sending the kit again.

There is no universally required creator-kit format or section list. Canva’s June 2026 guide says, “There are no hard and fast rules about what goes into a media kit.” Treat examples and templates as starting points, not a checklist you must fill with unsupported claims.
Pick a format you can share and maintain
PDFs, Canva designs, Google Slides and one-page websites are all workable formats; Buffer notes that there is no single best format. Choose based on how the recipient will open the material, how polished the presentation needs to be, and how often the information changes.

- Illustration-Grade Paper, specially-textured and heavyweight to allow bold use of color and techniques. Other pads use traditional paper and bleed through and wrinkle easily in response to marker and paint - frustrating your ability to show your creativity. Hardcover for long standing durability. Spiral bound to keep pages flat. Perforated for true-size paper.
- 144 Pages with 432 Internationally Designed Figure Outlines (“Croquis”) in 14 poses. "Croquis" is a term originating in France in 1805 to describe a rough sketch. It is now used in the fashion industry for figure templates used in the design process. Our Croquis are newly designed by our international team with a fresh and modern perspective. Produced with designers from London, NY, LA, Italy, Austria, and Brazil. This design pad represents the best from around the world of fashion.
- Single-Croquis, Full-Illustration Pages! 24 of this book's 136 pages are printed with only one figure outline on each! Other fashion sketchbooks place a minimum of 2 figures on every page in order to advertise the most number of figure outlines at the cheapest possible cost. This premium design pad provides both.
- "Perfect-Printed" Croquis. We tested many croquis offerings and found what we believe is the perfect balance of outline visibility with outline vanishing-ability when illustrated. Many products print too dark, or too light. Our testing and designer-input led us to this flexible balance. Practice-Through-Final Process. The Croquis poses are printed in small, medium, and large sizes. Create multi-pose designs side-by-side, or use the smaller sizes for practice and experimenting freely!
- Please Note, some customers have misunderstood this product: This is a sketchbook of our professionally created croquis (body outlines) exactly as used by fashion designers. Our pre-printed body outlines allow you, kids, students, artists, and designers to focus on creative designing without wasting time properly sketching the human form. This is also not a book of instructions and ideas; our customers have told us they can use Google for that! 🙂
| Format | Useful when | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| You want a fixed, polished file to attach to an email or send directly. | If statistics or contact details change, update the file and send the new version. | |
| Webpage | You want one link that can point to the current version. | You need to keep the page available and check that its links and content remain current. |
| Canva design or Google Slides | You want a template-based or presentation-style document that you can customize. | Confirm the recipient can open the shared file or export it in a convenient format. |
Canva offers both a blank starting point and customizable media-kit templates. Use a template only if it makes the material clearer; it is not a substitute for choosing relevant content or checking accuracy.
Design for a quick, credible read
Keep the layout consistent with your existing visual identity. Use a clear hierarchy, readable type, a restrained color palette and descriptive headings. Choose images that show the work or audience context rather than filling space. A potential partner should be able to find your audience evidence, examples, services and contact details without hunting through decorative elements.

Avoid overcrowding the kit with every post you have made; a focused set of relevant examples is easier to evaluate.

You can put a simple rate card in the kit or keep pricing separate and discuss the brief first. Buffer describes both approaches; available guidance does not establish that one produces better outcomes for creators generally. Include rates when they help qualify inquiries, and keep them separate when scope varies enough that a price needs context.
Best Value
If you publish a price, state what it covers: the deliverable, format, usage or any other terms that define the offer. Do not suggest a universal market rate. If you prefer to discuss pricing after learning about the project, say plainly that rates are available on request.
Assemble, review and send
- Write the opening: introduce yourself, your niche and the relevance of your work to the intended reader.
- Choose the evidence: select only the account metrics and audience details that support this particular pitch, and label figures with their measurement period or update date.
- Add proof of work: include a curated set of relevant samples and any genuine collaborations or testimonials you are allowed to share.
- Explain your offer: list the services or deliverables you provide. Include a rate card only if it suits your approach, and explain what quoted prices include.
- Give a clear next step: add contact details and a direct invitation to discuss a brief, request a quote or view your portfolio.
- Check before sharing: verify names, links, statistics, permissions, contact details and the recipient’s ability to open the file or page.
Update the kit when a meaningful change makes it stale—for example, when statistics shift, your offer changes or you have new work you want to feature. Canva’s June 2026 guide recommends periodic updates to keep media-kit content fresh and relevant. Keep an editable source copy so a PDF or shared page can be revised without rebuilding the design.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your creator work includes a YouTube channel that you want to keep live with uploaded videos, StreamNeo runs the stream from the cloud: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; it plays uploaded videos, not a live camera feed. Your upload streams as made, at any quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, and StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. See StreamNeo, then start your free day.
