To keep Rajasthani folk music live on YouTube around the clock, first clear the rights to every recording and performance, then configure a YouTube Live event and send a continuous audio-video feed through an encoder. You can do this with encoding software or a separate hardware encoder; neither the hardware nor any particular model is required. Plan for interruptions and verify YouTube’s current event and archive behavior before you launch: the available official guidance does not promise that one event can run indefinitely or that its replay will always be retained.
1. Clear the music before you schedule a stream
Traditional repertoire does not automatically make a particular recording free to rebroadcast. A song, its arrangement, the sound recording, and a performance can involve different rights. Obtain permission for the exact material, platform, territories, and use you plan to stream, and keep a record of what each permission covers.

YouTube says it scans all live streams for matches to third-party content, including another live broadcast. A detected match can lead to a warning, a placeholder image replacing the stream, interruption or termination, or other consequences depending on the situation. A license by itself may not prevent an interruption: YouTube says the relevant rights holder may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. This can matter even when a stream is restricted to territories where you have rights. See YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.

2. Check that your channel can go live
YouTube says live streaming requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. YouTube lists mobile, webcam, encoder, and console as ways to stream; an encoder is the relevant option for a prepared music program with a designed visual loop or overlays. Follow YouTube’s current live-streaming setup guidance to check eligibility and enable the feature.
YouTube for Artists advises enabling a first live stream at least 24 hours before going live. Treat that as advance activation guidance, not a guarantee that every eligibility or account issue will be resolved within 24 hours. See YouTube for Artists’ live-stream guidance.

3. Build the continuous audio-video feed
Choose a software or hardware encoder
The encoder takes your program feed and transmits it to YouTube; Live Control Room is where you configure and manage the event. Software encoding is a valid route. A dedicated hardware encoder is optional and may suit a production that needs a separate appliance or a more involved audio-video setup. YouTube describes encoder-based production, and the National Informatics Centre (NIC) webcast setup also includes an encoder. Neither source establishes a required encoder model or computer specification.
Prepare the music and the visual component as one continuous program feed. Decide how tracks will transition, what viewers will see between or during songs, and how you will identify the stream. Test the complete path—from audio source and encoder through the network to the YouTube event—before scheduling a public broadcast.

- PLUG IN AND HEAR SOUND IN SECONDS - USB Type-A connector with a 3.5mm stereo headphone output and a separate 3.5mm mono microphone input. No drivers, no software, no external power - the adapter is USB bus-powered and is recognized as a standard USB audio device.
- WORKS ON WINDOWS, MAC AND LINUX - Driverless on Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista/7/8, Linux and Mac OSX, and compliant with the USB Audio Device Class 1.0 specification, so any system that supports class-compliant USB audio will see it. Select it as the sound output and input device after plugging it in.
- TWO JACKS, TWO JOBS - The green jack is stereo OUT for headphones or powered speakers; the pink jack is mono microphone IN for a 3.5mm mic. It does NOT support 4-pole headsets on a single combo plug, it does NOT power passive speakers, and it does NOT add surround sound - it is a stereo 2-channel adapter.
- FOR LAPTOPS AND DESKTOPS THAT NEED AN AUDIO PORT BACK - Adds a headphone and mic port to a laptop, desktop, or mini PC whose onboard jack has failed or was never there. Managed and work-issued computers can block new USB audio devices by policy - check with your IT department before ordering for a company machine.
- SABRENT SUPPORT AND WARRANTY - What is in the box: one USB audio sound adapter. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty, extended to 2 years when you register within 90 days on the manufacturer's website.
Plan network capacity realistically
NIC’s Government of India webcast service specifies 2–4 Mbps per stream for feeds provided by hired agencies. That is NIC’s guidance for that webcast context, not a universal YouTube bitrate requirement. Choose encoder settings based on your actual source, YouTube’s current recommendations, and the sustained upload capacity available where the encoder will run. Leave capacity for normal network variation and test for dropouts rather than treating a single speed-test result as proof of 24/7 readiness. NIC’s context is described on its Webcast Services page.
4. Create the YouTube event and connect the encoder
- Open YouTube Live Control Room. Create or schedule a live event and enter its title, description, visibility, and other event details.
- Set the event’s stream configuration. Choose the encoder workflow and use the stream key and server details shown in Live Control Room. Treat the stream key like a password: do not publish it or share it with anyone who should not be able to broadcast to your channel.
- Configure the encoder. Select the intended audio-video input and settings that match your production. The reviewed official sources do not establish a universal bitrate, resolution, keyframe interval, or encoder preset for this specific Rajasthani music use case; check YouTube’s current recommendations in Live Control Room rather than copying an unsupported preset.
- Start the encoder and confirm the incoming feed. Check that sound is present and clean, the picture is correct, and the event receives a stable signal before starting the public broadcast.
- Go live from the event controls. Keep the event and feed under observation after launch, particularly during the initial period when you can catch an incorrect source, missing audio, or unstable connection.
5. Make a 24/7 goal operationally manageable
Around-the-clock broadcasting depends on the whole chain staying available: power, network, encoder, audio-video source, and the YouTube session. The cited YouTube guidance does not establish an indefinite session duration, automatic reconnect guarantee, archive limit, or particular backup design. Before launch, check YouTube’s current event and replay behavior, decide who will monitor the stream, and document how that person will restore the feed after a failure.

- Plan how to notice a failed or interrupted feed and who can restart it; do not assume a stream will recover automatically.
- Keep a lawful backup of the program material and the event settings needed to restore the broadcast.
- Check what YouTube will retain as a replay for your specific event before relying on an archive as the only copy.
6. Troubleshoot common launch and continuity problems
The channel cannot start a live stream
Check channel verification and whether a live-streaming restriction was applied during the previous 90 days. If this is the channel’s first stream, enable live streaming in advance; the 24-hour guidance is not a promise that an account issue will resolve on a fixed schedule.
YouTube warns about copyrighted material or interrupts the feed
Stop and identify the matched material. Confirm that your permission covers the exact recording and use, and ask the rights holder whether your channel has been added to the Content ID allowlist. A license that is not reflected in allowlisting may not prevent an interruption.

Live Control Room does not receive the encoder feed
Check that the encoder is using the current server details and stream key displayed for the event, that the correct source is selected, and that the encoder is actually transmitting. If you have shared or exposed the key, replace it in YouTube and update the encoder configuration.
The audio or picture is missing or unstable
Verify the selected input and the encoder’s audio-video meters, then inspect the physical connections and the source playback. Test the sustained upload path and adjust settings using YouTube’s current guidance; the NIC bandwidth figure applies to its hired-agency webcast context, not as a YouTube preset.
The broadcast stops after it has been running
Check power, network availability, encoder status, source playback, and the event’s state in Live Control Room. Because the cited platform guidance does not promise indefinite sessions or automatic recovery, use your monitoring and restart plan, then verify the current event behavior before resuming.
