How to Control Which Health Records Ultrahuman Can Access

Choose the right permission route for Apple Health, Android Health Connect, HealthEx records, or another integration. Turning off access and deleting stored data are separate steps.

You can stop Ultrahuman from accessing selected health data by changing the permission for the service that supplies it: Apple Health on iPhone, Health Connect on Android, or a separate integration such as HealthEx for provider records. To remove data Ultrahuman already holds, submit a separate privacy request; turning off access is not documented as deleting previously collected data.

First identify the connection you want to control

There is no single permission switch that covers every source of health information. Choose the route that matches the data you mean:

  • Apple Health: health data shared from Apple Health with Ultrahuman on iPhone.
  • Health Connect: data shared through Android’s Health Connect, if that is the route configured on your device.
  • Other third-party integrations: connections that you enabled in the Ultrahuman app.
  • HealthEx: medical records shared from connected care sites. This is separate from Apple Health and Health Connect.
  • Developer or partner sharing: a specific authorization that lets an external developer access data.

Changing one connection does not necessarily change the others. Ultrahuman’s privacy policy, last updated September 13, 2026, describes information it may receive through integrations and says they can be disabled from its app.

Change Ultrahuman’s Apple Health permissions on iPhone

Apple lets you manage access by data type and change what you share later. Open Apple Health’s app-access controls, select Ultrahuman, and switch off the categories you no longer want to share. You can also review health-data access in iOS Settings. Menu names and paths can vary by iOS version, so follow the current labels on your device rather than relying on a fixed sequence.

If you want to stop all Apple Health sharing, turn off every permission shown for Ultrahuman. If you only want to withhold particular information, disable just those categories. Apple’s Health app privacy information says people can control which data they share with third-party apps and change that choice at any time.

Remove Health Connect access on Android

Open Health Connect’s app-permission area, select Ultrahuman if it appears, and remove the read permissions for the data types you do not want shared. The available categories depend on your Android version, app version, and device configuration. If Ultrahuman is not listed, check whether Health Connect is the data route you enabled; the absence of a listing alone does not establish that no other connection is active.

Turn off other integrations in the Ultrahuman app

For an integration configured directly in Ultrahuman, review the app’s integration or connected-services settings and disable the relevant connection. Ultrahuman’s policy says third-party integrations can be disabled from within its app, but the setting names may change. This stops the integration according to its current controls; it should not be treated as confirmation that previously synchronized data has been erased.

Stop sharing medical records through HealthEx

HealthEx provider-record sharing is distinct from wearable and activity data permissions. In its September 17, 2026 announcement, Ultrahuman says users choose which care sites to connect, actively consent to sharing records, and can stop sharing those records. Use the current HealthEx or Ultrahuman account controls to withdraw consent. The announcement does not specify an exact menu path; if you cannot find the control, contact Ultrahuman support.

Revoke a developer or partner authorization

If you authorized an external developer to receive metrics, review that specific authorization rather than relying only on Apple Health or Health Connect settings. Ultrahuman’s developer documentation describes a Partner ID authorization flow for accessing another person’s data and says an exposed personal API key can be deactivated or deleted. Revoke the relevant authorization using the control available to you, or contact Ultrahuman support if you cannot locate it.

Request deletion of data Ultrahuman already has

Revoking permission addresses future access through that connection; it is not the same as asking Ultrahuman to erase information already collected. If your goal is deletion, use the privacy-rights process described in Ultrahuman’s privacy policy. The policy lists rights that include access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. Requesting deletion from Ultrahuman does not by itself establish that copies held by Apple, Google, clinics, or independent recipients have also been deleted.

If a metric disappears, check permissions directly

A missing measurement is not a reliable way to tell whether access was denied. Apple’s HealthKit authorization documentation says an app cannot determine whether read access was denied; denied data can appear the same as data that simply is not present. Check the relevant permission screen to confirm your settings.
