Short answer: For the 2026 Nintendo Switch 2 release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the Nintendo Store’s three Spiritual Stone replicas are the clearest collectible bonus. However, a $59.99 physical pre-order reported at Amazon and Walmart is $10 below the $69.99 MSRP, so it can be the better value if you care more about the game than display pieces. The first-print textured foil cover is another physical-only attraction, but it is limited to remaining stock. Compare the delivered price, region, eligibility wording and how much you will actually use the bonus before ordering.
What Zelda pre-order bonuses are confirmed for Ocarina of Time on Switch 2?
The currently documented offers are not one universal package. They fall into three categories: a Nintendo Store collectible, a first-print packaging feature and retailer pricing that may be better than the manufacturer’s suggested price. Treat each as a separate part of the deal.

| Offer | What you receive | Price information reported | Important condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nintendo Store pre-order | Three-dimensional replicas of the game’s three Spiritual Stones, described as PVC/acrylic pieces in a black display box | $69.99 in the United States; £58.99 in the United Kingdom | Check that the specific product page says the replicas are included with your order |
| Nintendo Store bundle variant | The Spiritual Stone replicas plus a small ocarina pin badge | The cited United Kingdom listing charged an additional £2.99 for this version | This is a paid upgrade, not automatically part of every pre-order |
| First physical print | Special textured foil cover art | No separate surcharge stated | Available while supplies last |
| Amazon or Walmart physical pre-order | The physical game; no separate exclusive collectible was established in the reported coverage | $59.99 reported against a $69.99 MSRP | Promotional price and bonus eligibility can change; verify in the cart and on the product page |
The $59.99 figure was reported by Nintendo Wire and independently described by Tom’s Guide as a $10 discount that appeared in-cart. That makes the price comparison unusually important: you may be paying less for the game itself while another store asks full price for a collectible bundle.

Which offer is best for different kinds of buyers?
Choose the Nintendo Store replicas if you are a display-focused collector
The Spiritual Stones are the only currently documented bonus that is a dedicated in-box display set. Their value is primarily visual and emotional: they represent a recognizable part of Ocarina of Time and arrive in a black display box. If you already know where the set will go, the full-price Nintendo Store copy can make sense. The £2.99 ocarina-pin upgrade is easier to justify when you specifically want a small wearable or pin-board item; it is not a necessary add-on for playing the game.

Choose a discounted physical copy if the game matters more than merchandise
A $59.99 physical pre-order is $10 below the stated $69.99 MSRP. In the coverage that reported the deal, that brought the physical copy to the reported digital price. A discount is real value even if you never display a collectible, provided the price remains in your cart through checkout and delivery does not erase the difference.
Choose the first print when packaging is your priority
The textured foil cover is part of the first physical print rather than a separately priced accessory. It is therefore a low-friction bonus for anyone buying a cartridge anyway. “While supplies last” means the feature can disappear before launch; a pre-order placed late may not receive it unless the listing explicitly confirms that it does.
Buy digital only when convenience outweighs physical extras
The documented bonuses are physical objects or physical packaging. No source establishes that the Spiritual Stones, foil cover or ocarina pin is included with a digital eShop purchase. Do not infer digital eligibility from the game title alone. Digital ordering does provide pre-loading and a different payment timetable, which may be more valuable to players who want to start immediately without handling a cartridge.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteCalculate the real cost before calling a bonus “free”
A bonus is not free if the qualifying copy costs more than an equivalent copy elsewhere. Use this calculation for every retailer:
Real cost = item price + shipping + tax or VAT + required bundle surcharge − guaranteed discount.
Compare totals for equivalent editions, not a standard copy against a deluxe bundle. A $10 promotional discount can outweigh a modest collectible premium, while a large paid bundle can reverse that result.
Example: discounted physical copy versus the Spiritual Stone set
| Option | Known merchandise | Known item price | What remains to verify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reported Amazon/Walmart physical offer | No exclusive collectible established in the coverage | $59.99 promotional price versus $69.99 MSRP | Shipping, tax, stock, delivery date and whether the foil first print remains |
| United States Nintendo Store listing | Three Spiritual Stone replicas | $69.99 | Shipping, tax, remaining bonus stock and exact edition |
| United Kingdom Nintendo Store listing | Three replicas; an ocarina pin version cost £2.99 more | £58.99, or £61.98 for the cited pin variant before delivery charges | VAT treatment, delivery, local stock and whether the pin bundle is still offered |
The table does not assign a resale value to the replicas or pin. No authoritative resale-value study is established, so treat them as personal-use collectibles rather than investments.
How to verify a retailer listing step by step
- Select the exact region and edition. A United States Nintendo Store page, a United Kingdom page and a German page can show different currencies, contents and stock rules.
- Read the contents or “pre-order bonus” panel. Confirm whether the item is included automatically, requires a code, or is available only with a named bundle.
- Check the product title and images. A photograph of a display piece is not proof that it ships with every edition. Look for explicit wording such as “included,” “bundle contents” or “while supplies last.”
- Add the item to the cart. The reported Amazon and Walmart discount appeared in-cart, so a search-result price alone is not enough.
- Inspect the final total. Record shipping, tax or VAT, any membership requirement and a bundle surcharge before comparing stores.
- Save the order confirmation. Keep the line that names the bonus and the edition. It is useful if a retailer later substitutes a standard copy or the bonus sells out.
- Recheck the stock qualification near launch. “While supplies last” applies to the textured foil cover and means an earlier page description may not guarantee a later shipment.
What each retailer comparison can—and cannot—tell you
Nintendo Store
The Nintendo Store is the documented destination for the Spiritual Stone replicas. The United States listing was reported at $69.99 and the United Kingdom listing at £58.99. Because the bundle is tied to a named store and region, do not assume that ordering the same game from another country or retailer transfers the replicas.
Amazon and Walmart
The reported $59.99 price makes these stores important for a value comparison. The available coverage established the discount, not a separate exclusive Zelda collectible. Verify the exact seller, edition and in-cart total; marketplace or fulfillment changes can create different terms under a similar-looking listing.
Best Buy and GameStop
They are relevant places to check because retailer-specific bonuses have occurred in earlier Zelda launches, but no current exclusive Ocarina of Time bonus is established here. A retailer’s past practice is a reason to inspect its product page, not proof that the 2026 release includes the same item.
Why retailer-specific bonuses are common
Earlier releases show why you should compare the written offer rather than assume every store receives the same merchandise. For The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom in 2024, Nintendo Life reported an acrylic display stand at Best Buy and an exclusive fabric poster at GameStop. Those were different retailer offers, not a universal bonus.
The German pre-order structure for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom provides a second caution. Nintendo Germany said all pre-orders included a collector coin and luggage tag, while paid bundles added a notebook for €74.99, a medal for €79.99 or both for €84.99. A store can therefore attach a basic item to every qualifying order and sell larger bundles separately. When a listing uses words such as “premium,” “collector” or “limited,” identify which pieces are included at the base price.
Physical versus digital: the practical trade-off
What Nintendo’s eShop timing means
Nintendo Support states that an eShop pre-order is charged for the full amount no sooner than seven days before the game’s release. The game can pre-load, and any bonus download codes are not available until payment is processed and the game has pre-loaded, also no sooner than seven days before release. Nintendo allows cancellation before payment is processed.
This timing matters if your budget or release plans may change. A digital pre-order is not an immediate charge under that policy, but cancellation rights end once payment is processed. Set a reminder for the seven-day window if you may want to cancel.
What digital buyers give up
- No documented access to the physical Spiritual Stone replicas.
- No textured foil cover, because there is no physical package.
- No physical ocarina pin from the cited bundle variant.
- Less flexibility to lend, resell or display a boxed copy.
What digital buyers gain
- Pre-loading before release.
- No delivery delay or shipping charge.
- A cancellation window before the charge is processed, under Nintendo’s stated policy.
If the digital price is equal to or higher than a verified $59.99 physical offer, the physical copy may have stronger monetary value. If immediate access and storage convenience matter more, the digital format can still be the rational choice; the decision is about priorities, not a universal winner.
How to judge a bonus’s personal value
Score each candidate from zero to five in the categories below. The exercise prevents a dramatic photograph from overpowering the actual cost.
Rank #3
- Play the original Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
- Or the Master Quest edition with many bonus features
| Category | Question to ask | High score means |
|---|---|---|
| Use | Will I display, wear or handle it regularly? | The item has a clear place in your routine or collection |
| Uniqueness | Is this design difficult to obtain outside the pre-order? | The bonus is meaningfully different from ordinary merchandise |
| Condition risk | Can it arrive damaged or lose appeal in storage? | The item is durable and easy to protect |
| Price efficiency | How much extra am I paying after shipping and tax? | The premium is small or negative compared with the cheapest equivalent copy |
| Availability certainty | Does the retailer clearly guarantee inclusion? | The listing names the bonus and the order confirmation repeats it |
Multiply the score by your own priorities rather than treating every category equally. A collector may weight uniqueness heavily; a player with limited shelf space may give price efficiency and convenience more weight.
Country and currency checks
The available listings demonstrate that Zelda bonuses are regional. The United States Nintendo Store figure was $69.99, while the United Kingdom listing was £58.99, and the pin variant added £2.99 in that United Kingdom example. A German bundle history used euro prices and different contents. None of those figures can be converted into a universal global price without exchange rates, taxes and delivery rules.
- Use the store assigned to your shipping address.
- Confirm whether the bonus ships domestically or is restricted to the store’s territory.
- Check whether taxes are included in the displayed price or added at checkout.
- Do not import a cheaper-looking copy until you have verified language, warranty, delivery, return and bonus eligibility.
- Assume a bonus does not transfer across regions unless the retailer explicitly says so.
Scarcity, first prints and the risk of waiting
The textured foil cover is explicitly available while supplies last. That phrase describes inventory, not a guaranteed end date. Waiting can produce a lower price, but it can also leave you with a standard cover or no Spiritual Stone stock. Decide which risk matters more before delaying.
Order early when the bonus is the main reason you are buying
Use the Nintendo Store listing when the replicas are the primary goal, and retain the order confirmation showing the qualifying bundle. Do not cancel until you have checked that a replacement order still includes the same item.
Wait when the discount is more important than scarcity
If you mainly want the game, monitor the delivered total. A retailer promotion can be worth more than a collectible, especially if the $10 saving remains after shipping and tax. There is no established guarantee that the $59.99 price will continue through launch.
Optional Zelda accessories: keep them separate from the bonus calculation
Reported companion products include Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo at $24.99 each, a Zelda 40th Anniversary carrying case and screen protector at $39.99, and a themed Pro Controller at $99.99. These are separate purchases, not evidence that the pre-order itself includes them. Add them to your budget only if you would buy them without the game order; otherwise they can make a “bonus deal” appear cheaper or more valuable than it is.
The same coverage reported a $519.99 Nintendo Switch 2 console price. Do not include the console in a game-bonus comparison unless you are buying hardware specifically for this release.

Treating a paid bundle as a free bonus
Why it fails: The Tears of the Kingdom example shows that stores can sell expanded bundles at higher prices. Fix: Separate the base offer, surcharge and additional items in your calculation.
Comparing sticker prices instead of delivered totals
Why it fails: Shipping, tax or VAT can erase a $10 discount. Fix: Compare the last checkout screen for equivalent editions.
Assuming “first print” means guaranteed forever
Why it fails: The foil cover is limited to remaining supplies. Fix: Treat stock language as a condition and preserve the listing that describes it.
Recommended Free Tools
Expecting a digital code for a physical object
Why it fails: The documented Spiritual Stones and foil art are physical. Fix: Look for a separately identified digital reward; otherwise assume the physical item is unavailable digitally.
Using resale value to justify the purchase
Why it fails: No authoritative resale study establishes a return for these bonuses. Fix: Buy only for enjoyment, display or personal collecting value.
A decision checklist for your Ocarina of Time pre-order
- Is the product the Nintendo Switch 2 edition, not another platform or region?
- Which matters more to you: a $10 reported discount, the Spiritual Stone set, the foil cover or digital convenience?
- Does the listing state exactly what is included?
- Is the ocarina pin a £2.99 paid upgrade in your region rather than a free addition?
- What is the delivered total after shipping and tax?
- Does “while supplies last” apply to the foil cover or another item?
- Will you display or use the bonus, or will it remain boxed?
- For digital, have you noted the seven-day payment window and cancellation deadline?
- Have you saved the confirmation that names the bonus and edition?
Bottom line: which Zelda pre-order bonus is worth it?
For a collector who wants a centerpiece tied directly to Ocarina of Time, the Nintendo Store’s three Spiritual Stone replicas are the strongest documented bonus. For a player who wants the lowest verified cost, the reported $59.99 Amazon or Walmart physical offer is more compelling than paying the $69.99 MSRP for merchandise you will not use. The textured foil cover is a sensible extra when you already want a physical copy, but its availability is limited. Digital is best for pre-loading and convenience, not for the documented physical collectibles.
Make the final choice with the checkout total and your own use of the item—not a presumed resale price—as the deciding evidence.
