Fortnite generally uses “outfit” for what players often call a skin. Once the reward is granted, it is stored on the Epic Account that competed and can be selected from Fortnite’s Locker like other character outfits.

Meet the minimum age
Epic’s event listing requires players to be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in their country of residence when that local minimum is higher. This is an entry requirement, not merely a condition checked after a match. If the account does not meet the applicable age rule, it should not be treated as eligible for the cup or its prizes.

Enable multifactor authentication
Multifactor authentication (MFA) must be enabled on the Epic Account used to play. Turn it on before entering the event rather than waiting for a prize check. The event listing names MFA as a condition of participation, so an account that reaches a qualifying score without satisfying that requirement may not be eligible for the reward.
Use the account that should receive the outfit
The cosmetic is tied to the Epic Account participating in the cup. Sign in to that account before joining a session and keep it active afterward. Epic’s rules say potential winners must keep the account active during verification.
Check prize-region restrictions
The rules contain a Prize Restricted Regions clause. Residents of Turkey and Russia are excluded from prizes under that clause. A player may therefore be able to see or play an event while still being ineligible to receive its prize because of residence. Check the rules that apply to your region before relying on a qualifying placement.

The rules separate the standard Battle Royale/Zero Build competition from Mobile Cup competition. Their placement tables are different, so you must compare your result with the cutoff for the format you actually played.
Battle Royale and Zero Build
The standard qualifier sessions cover Solo Battle Royale and Solo Zero Build. Each session lasts approximately three hours, and the rules limit a player to a maximum of 11 matches in that session. Your final standing is evaluated against the table for your matchmaking region.

Mobile Cup
Mobile Cup has its own outfit cutoffs. Do not use the Battle Royale/Zero Build numbers to judge a Mobile result. The mobile table is substantially smaller in every listed region.
Placement cutoffs by region
Epic’s 2026 rules publish the following placements for the Champion Teal Knight outfit. “1st–1,000th,” for example, means the outfit cutoff includes players ranked from first through 1,000th place in that listed region and format.

These are the named 2026 figures in Epic’s rules. They are not a universal Fortnite ranking target: the applicable number depends on both your region and whether you played Battle Royale/Zero Build or Mobile Cup. For example, a 500th-place finish falls within the listed EU standard cutoff but not within the NAC Mobile cutoff, while a 150th-place finish qualifies under the NAC Mobile number but is outside the 100-player standard cutoffs for OCE, Asia, and ME.
How to pursue the reward step by step
- Confirm your account and residence. Decide which Epic Account will compete, verify that you meet the applicable age requirement, and make sure your residence is not excluded by the Prize Restricted Regions clause.
- Enable MFA. Complete multifactor authentication on that Epic Account before joining the cup. Treat this as a prerequisite, not a post-event formality.
- Open the Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup listing in Fortnite. Read the event details shown for your account and region. Identify whether the available competition is Battle Royale/Zero Build or Mobile Cup.
- Check the session rules. Standard qualifier sessions last approximately three hours and allow no more than 11 matches. Plan your play around that limit; additional matches beyond the stated maximum cannot be assumed to count.
- Compete in the listed region. Your target is the cutoff in the table for the region and format attached to your session. Keep the region and format straight when checking standings.
- Finish inside the applicable range. The outfit is placement-based. A result outside your format’s published range does not establish eligibility for Champion Teal Knight, even if it would have qualified under a different region or cup.
- Keep the account active after the session. Epic says potential winners are notified at the email address associated with the Epic Account within 60 days after the applicable session, or longer when reasonably required. Keep access to that email address and leave the competing account active during verification.
What happens after a qualifying finish
Epic handles notification and verification
There is no player-submitted claim form identified in the cited event materials. Epic’s rules place post-event handling with Epic: potential winners are notified at the email address associated with the Epic Account within 60 days after the applicable session, unless more time is reasonably required. The account must remain active while eligibility is verified.
A leaderboard position by itself should not be treated as final confirmation until Epic completes that process. Keep your account details current enough to receive the message, monitor the associated inbox, and follow any verification instructions Epic sends. Do not give account credentials or MFA codes to anyone claiming to deliver the outfit.

There is no documented physical redemption item
The official event and rules materials identify a digital Fortnite cosmetic prize. They do not identify a physical merchandise item, accessory, toy, collectible, model kit, or Amazon product needed to enter, claim, or equip it. They also do not document a manual redemption code or a separate item that must be purchased before the outfit appears.

How to equip Champion Teal Knight in Fortnite
After the outfit has been granted to the correct Epic Account, Epic’s support workflow is:
- Launch Fortnite. Sign in to the Epic Account that played the cup and received the reward.
- Open Locker from the lobby. Epic’s general Locker instructions begin by accessing Locker from the Fortnite lobby.
- Open the Character section. In Locker, choose Character to manage your character cosmetics.
- Open the outfit picker. Select the outfit currently equipped to display the available outfits on the account.
- Choose Champion Teal Knight. Select the Champion Teal Knight outfit from the list.
- Click Back. Return to the lobby. The selected outfit is now the character outfit for that loadout.
Epic’s broader Locker workflow describes the same action as launching Fortnite, accessing Locker from the lobby, selecting the cosmetic to equip, and clicking Back. The Character-specific path is the relevant one for an outfit.

Check the signed-in Epic Account
The first check is account identity. Log out only if necessary, then verify that Fortnite is using the Epic Account that entered the cup and received the notification. Looking at Locker on a different account will not show that account’s reward.
Look in the outfit category
Use Locker > Character and open the outfit picker. Champion Teal Knight is an outfit, so searching another cosmetic category can make it appear to be absent.

Allow for the notification and verification window
Epic’s rules allow notification within 60 days after the applicable session, or longer if reasonably required. A reward should not be expected immediately after the last match. If you have not received a message, check the email address associated with the Epic Account and consider that the stated period concerns potential-winner notification and verification.
Recheck the format and cutoff
Compare the final standing with the exact row that applies: Battle Royale/Zero Build versus Mobile Cup, then your region. Mobile and standard cutoffs are not interchangeable. A placement that qualifies in one table may fall outside another.
Review age and MFA status
Eligibility still depends on the event’s age and MFA requirements. If either condition was not met on the participating account, a high placement alone does not establish that the outfit must be awarded.
Consider prize-region restrictions
Residents of Turkey and Russia are excluded from prizes under the rules’ restricted-region clause. If that clause applies to your residence, the missing reward is not necessarily a Locker or synchronization problem.
