Start with the exact boot’s size guide
UGG Australia says a detailed size guide appears beside the size selector on each product listing. Use the guide for the specific style you want rather than relying on a conversion chart or a familiar size from another brand. The Australian help page also says shoppers can switch among US, UK, EU, and centimeter formats. Make sure the format you select matches the storefront where you are shopping.

Check how the boot fits on your foot
UGG Australia’s general fit cue is snugness at the heel and midfoot, with wiggle room around the toes. Use this as a fit check, not as a numerical conversion or a reason to automatically choose a smaller size.

Classic boots may feel snug at first
On its US Classic Tall II product page, UGG says its Classics may fit slightly snug at first and may gradually stretch because of the natural properties of sheepskin. Choosing a size for a child
UGG’s printable children’s guide gives a measuring process and says to round up if a child falls between sizes. It also notes that a slightly larger size may allow room for growing feet. These instructions apply to the children’s guide; adults should use the current chart for their chosen product.
- Print the UGG children’s measuring guide at the scale specified on the guide.
- Have the child stand with the heel positioned as shown, then mark the longest toe.
- Repeat the measurement for the other foot and use the longer measurement with the kids’ chart.
- If the measurement falls between sizes, round up as the guide advises. Re-measure as needed rather than relying on an old measurement.
