1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteYou may qualify for the U.S. PlayStation Store settlement if you bought a game on the PlayStation Store from April 1, 2019, through December 31, 2023, and that exact game appears on the settlement’s eligible-games list. The game—not your individual purchase—must also meet specific historical voucher and price tests. Ordinary class members do not need to file a claim form; planned payments are PSN account credits, subject to final court approval.
Check these four eligibility requirements
- Location and store: You must be in the United States and have bought the game through the PlayStation Store. A physical copy bought from a retailer, by itself, does not meet this purchase-channel requirement.
- Purchase date: The digital Store purchase must have been made between April 1, 2019, and December 31, 2023.
- Exact game and edition: Find the title and, where shown, product ID or edition in the official settlement materials, which link to the eligible-games list. Compare the actual digital Store purchase with the list; owning a game in the same franchise or a physical version is not enough. Listed examples include Trials Fusion, NieR: Automata, Dragon Quest Builders, EA SPORTS FIFA 17 Standard Edition, and The Last of Us Remastered.
- Game-level voucher and price tests: The game must have had a game-specific voucher available at retail before April 1, 2019, at least 200 of those vouchers must have been redeemed before that date, and its post-discount price must have risen by at least $0.50 when comparing January 1, 2017–March 31, 2019 with April 1, 2019–December 31, 2023.
A game-specific voucher is a physical voucher or electronic code purchased from a non-Sony Interactive Entertainment retailer that lets a PlayStation user download one specific game from PSN. You do not have to have personally redeemed one: the voucher history and price change are criteria for the game.

How to look up your purchase
- Check your PlayStation Store transaction history or purchase confirmation for the transaction date, digital title, and edition.
- Open the settlement website and follow its eligible-games-list link. Search for the exact title or product ID; do not rely on a franchise name alone.
- Match the listing to the product you bought, then confirm your purchase was through the PlayStation Store and within the stated dates.
The list is the practical way to check the game-specific tests: a listed qualifying title has been assessed against the settlement’s class criteria. If a title, edition, or purchase record is unclear, contact the settlement administrator rather than assuming that a related title qualifies.

No ordinary claim form is required for class members. The settlement plan provides for eligible members to receive PSN account credits, subject to court approval and the approved allocation. The settlement amount is $7,850,000 in total—not a promised payment per person. After court-approved fees, costs, expenses, service awards, notice, and administration, the plan allocates the net amount pro rata based on each eligible member’s qualifying purchases compared with the total number of qualifying purchases. The final individual amount is not stated in the public materials cited here.

The administrator FAQ says class counsel may request attorneys’ fees of up to 25% of the settlement amount and aggregate service awards of $30,000 for named plaintiffs. Those are requests that require approval, not established final awards.
If your PSN account is inactive
The administrator previously told eligible people with deactivated accounts to provide qualifying purchase information and a current address to request payment by check. Its stated deadline was August 27, 2026, which has passed. Contact the administrator to ask whether any option remains; a late request is not guaranteed to be accepted.

What the settlement does—and does not—establish
The plaintiff alleges that Sony engaged in anticompetitive conduct in the PlayStation digital-game market that caused consumers to pay more for certain games. Sony denies that its conduct violated the law or that class members are entitled to relief. The administrator’s notice states: “THE COURT HAS NOT DECIDED WHETHER DEFENDANT VIOLATED ANY LAWS.”
